TiBal - Fully Torqued Build
by Hey all! Last Tuesday I was fortunate enough to pick up a 2010 6spd PG Sport Package 370! I have been on this forum for quite some time now, as from the start, it was a car that I knew I would eventually purchase. Finally after getting settled, first out of college job, and attaining a nice even debt to income ratio, I have been able to jump on the car of my choice! I have been a member on the Maxima forums for a long time and have had my Maxima for around 5 years. On my college budget, I would save up every now and then and began to build my own Front Facing Turbo Kit. Things didn’t work out with this, and I could not find the means to install as this was my only car and daily driver. I then parted that out and figured that I would use the money to work on cosmetics. I then got the itch for boost again, and picked up an awesome Stillen SC kit. Currently as it sits, I am running a Vortech V2, 13 psi, full bolt ons and Emanage Ult tuning. Long story short, the thing hauls, but the 370 is such a more tremendous platform. I was instantly amazed at the power, response, stability, ride .... rwd and everything else that sets it apart from any other car i have been fortunate to drive. I am ecstatic about the purchase and look forwarding to learning and contributing to my other new home! Thanks and look forwarding to meeting any of you especially the NE guys! -Tiler Last edited by tibal; 10-01-2014 at 02:54 PM. |

Agreed, that is a nice Maxima. I use to drive a '98 Max, but rwd is so much more fun. Congrats on the new ride. Keep her shiny and be prepared for the attention, lol.

Thank you very much! It is a whole new beast for sure. The RWD just makes it feel more responsive and the feeling of being pushed is just great. Gonna be hard to put her away for the winter, but hopefully if all goes well, will come out in the spring with some new add on's |

Been forever since I have updated and figured this would be an AWESOME time. Over the past year my car has undergone a whole lot of changes. Beginning from where I left off..
My first mods were the basics as I was slowly parting out my Maxima. My girlfriend surprised me with the EVO-R F1 light and I purchased a set of Powertrix Spacers to give the Z a wider stance and this definitely made me feel more planted to the ground. Last Winter us in Boston Area got little to no snow, so I had the opportunity to drive her a whole lot. I prefer to work on suspension first on all of my cars, and I knew I was digging the H&R drop. I was not sure what route I was going to take my Z, so springs were the best option at the time (coming from coilovers) and I have no regrets to this day. After grabbing these springs from Ryan (Thanks Again!) I installed them the same weekend along with some SPC rear Camber arms. The drop was just what I was looking for. Next on the list was an exhaust (picture above was taken with exhaust on) I had listened to a lot of different setups, and I came across the Motordyne. I was not 100% sure as to if I wanted to spend the extra money on it. After multiple calls and talks with Tony of Motordyne, I was sold and placed my order from FBNissan for the E370. I got this exhaust could not resist installing it that night. Right when I got home I put the car up on my ramps and began breaking bolts and installing. At first I loved the burnt tips, but the next day swapped them out for the more subtle chrome ones. The exhaust note was exotic and the tonality was to die for. I was ecstatic! Next, I took my Pioneer Headunit out of my Maxima and installed it in the Z. Looked awesome with the interior lights and drastically improved the base/sport speaker sound. I was hooked on hunting and gathering new parts for my new toy, and so I snagged a Stillen G3 intake kit. Loved the sound of this with the exhaust, and really gave the Z that mean growl. Also, the added power was a bonus! If I remember correctly, the end of that week, I took the Z in for a nice 30% tint job with Llumar tint and it came out awesome! By this time it was mid Summer 2012, and I desperately needed some rubber for the rear. Browsing around, I found great reviews from an eBay seller, and I purchased a set of 295/30-19 RE050As for dirt cheap!
