Get some police tape and mark off a spot for yourself, no one will bother it.

A few new things.
On order: ~New shift knob - Still looking for that one shift knob, this is a TWM Big Type-R shift knob ~Intake - Takeda Short Ram Intake Thinking of doing a dyno run for a before and after test to see how the Takeda do, will have to find a good shop in Houston. Also hoping to find a good photographer or maybe get a friend with a good camera and do some nice photos of the car in the next week. Since my thread seems to lack some nice quality pictures.

I bet the short ram does ok all things considered, and you don't have to cut the car's plastic to install them so that's a plus. What would really be sweet though would be to pair it up with some cold air tubes like Modshack did. I have flanges and tubing in my garage right now to play with, but I'm going to be working on running the air to the Gen III filter location with some shopvac heads.

Solid gains (not proven other than by manufacture), sound is nice, and less work all around for install and later. It may come out to be **** and it may not, but my car is not 100% about power, not yet at least.

I have a dyno time today at 5PM at Engine Logics, it is a Dyno Dynamics which wstar has used before and gave it a thumbs up. Will get some baseline numbers and hopefully next week go back and get some after numbers when my intake arrives.
What is the most optimal gear for our 6 speed manual to run the dyno in?

Edit: But if you bring up gearing with the EL guy, he'll tell you it doesn't matter. He says because the Dyno Dynamics works differently than, say, DynoJet does, the gearing doesn't really affect its ability to measure torque. I'm inclined to think he's right about that, but then again it may also be the case that you see less drivetrain loss at the transmission in 5th too, which would affect any dyno by some small amount. I purchased a 4 layer cover from Pep boys that is damn good 4 the $. It is a outdoor cover that can even be used in the snow. I purchased the same size as the 350z and it might be just a little 2 small because it doesn't fit over the entire rear wheels or bumper. Other than that it was one of my best purchases. I'm also installing a clear bra tomorrow.

Nice dyno charts I don't know if we've seen a Dyno Dynamics baseline before. Now you see why Engine Logics is such a heartbreaker, DD reads so low compared to the DynoJets, etc

Intakes arrived yesterday and are installed, here are some quick pictures of them installed. Also received my new shift knob and really liking it, probably have found my perfect shift knob. After I get the dyno results on Monday I will do a nice write up on the intakes and shift knob, want to give them some time to break in.
Overall I am pleased with the intakes so far, normal driving (not getting on it much) has not changed anything as I can tell. Revving past 4k and 50% to WOT really changes the sound of the car. So far I have really enjoyed the sound change, overall not much change in power but probably not much gained.

Results are in and we need to have a discussion about some things. Overall the gains are zero to negative by 2HP and plus 1 torque. The major question though is, now the car is running much richer how will this affect later tuning or additional parts?
I understand that the numbers for HP or Torque, but I want to know what will happen when tuning this car if the power loss can be created later? Here are the graphs for your viewing pleasure. First up is HP & A/F, which shows three runs from today. Now HP & A/F comparison of my two best runs from my first dyno and today. HP & Torque of three runs from today. HP & Torque of my two best runs from my first dyno and today.
