There are independent results available for the g37 that suggest the Injen intakes are fairly close to Stillen's G3. For me, it's a matter of not wanting to cut anything on the car and the ease of a dry filter.

That makes no sense at all.. There should be a gain, even if air is coming in hotter.. The fact that the larger diameter tubing potentially leans the engine out a hair should net more than the SAME HP or 1 hp. Something's going on.. I'll have to get my car dyno'd.. but unfortunately I don't have a base line to work with. I have shorties.

But it is richer now, not leaner.

Overall I am pleased with the intakes so far, normal driving (not getting on it much) has not changed anything as I can tell. Revving past 4k and 50% to WOT really changes the sound of the car. So far I have really enjoyed the sound change, overall not much change in power but probably not much gained.
looks good, and they sound good...not sure why they diddnt show any significant gains...

well, i hope to see better results soon...maybe after some tuning...

Why is it running richer now?
Is the ECU compensating for the removal of the stock airboxes and stuffing the A/F or is there some other reason.

Have you tried this with some Cobb port or some tuneable chip?

Car has been reset, not going back to the dyno until the next install which has now been set. Just put my name on the order list for the Berk Tech Cat-back exhaust, current time line is first orders will ship out from Sept./Oct. so hopefully I will have it on quickly after that.

New updated, non-performance:
~Rear fog light on, but not wired yet. I am still debating how exactly I am going to wire it in. Switch Panel on console seems to be the best solution and with the find by M.J. I think I found my exact solution. Just need to head to Austin to have a friend do the wiring.
Will also do the kick plate install while in Austin, and if needed dump my ECU off at Uprev if they need/want it.

Berk exhaust has been delayed till December, but with that I might just buy Berk HFC to do the install all at the same time. My only other decision before the end of the year is new intake. Takeda is out and the only two solutions currently are Stillen or Injen.

Stillen:
+Very solid gains
+Great position in car
-Cutting

Injen:
+Solid gains
+Nice position in car
+Cheaper

Looking for some input from anyone who has had Stillen long term and their thoughts. Injen is still new and a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon since the Injen do not require you to cut anything. After being hurt by Takeda I feel like I should not take any shortcuts anymore, buy the best proven, which seems to be Stillen.

Finally got around to finish a few things and take some pictures.

Just a random front picture, she needs a good wash.

Yes the car is dirty, drive to Austin two weekends ago and rain in Houston really makes me sad.

TWM Big Type-R shift knob:

Kick-plates:

Rear fog - will be wired to center console next month:
