:tup::tup: Thats sweet. So what are you doing with the CBE? I guess you will be to wait and see how this changes the sound! |
Some ideas on exhaust, but it is on hold while this gets put on currently. One step at a time. ;)
Oh, almost forgot, adding a HKS Camp 2 to monitor everything. |
When will the install be done?
|
I get my car back July 10th.
|
Wow thats good! Can't wait to see pics! What SC you getting?
|
Great day at Baker Tuning & Baker Nissan. My car has begun work officially, tearing things down and pulling out the Stillen intakes, draining oil, etc. Looks like a fun couple of days for Baker Tuning, but after a GTM Twin Turbo build earlier this week, this should be a piece of cake.
A few pictures to tide people over: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_wgFNZZBDMaE/TD...2016.08.03.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_wgFNZZBDMaE/TD...2016.08.17.jpg |
I'm guessing then form the look of those pictures then that you are doing the STILLEN supercharger!
|
Nope.
|
Did GTM start shipping their supercharger?
|
GTM!!! What stage GTM SC then?
|
Just stage 1 currently.

So your going to make two trips to the dyno; possibly right..?
1. Test the F.I. LTH's 2. If the LTH's suck at life back to the dyno with the stockies Poor Jason is going to have another long week ahead of him if the LTH's don't do a good job. Either way you are in good hands with Baker Tuning  |

Nice! Are you doing anything cool and special?

Woaha....okay:ugh2: :eekdance:

So who else is getting a GTM supercharger on the 370z at the moment? I know there have been some G37 folks. Will your HKS Camp 2 been in for the SC install?
|

Hope somewhere in the testing process you might consider using some aftermarket HFC's IF the LTH's don't work out. :tiphat: |
Yeah he can buy mine so I can get some 3" down pipes
|
Can't wait to hear how you like it. I know you'll like it but how much? Lol

Yup, find that out before we start over nighting parts :)
What sensors are you getting again??? I think you got the harness with this order. HKS told me 350z's did not need the harness but it was not tested on the 370z yet. On my end everything works great without the harness. By adding it I wnder if there are more viewable stock sensors with the harness attached. I guess we will find out, only a $35 part no biggy. I might find the time to solder the wires directly to the stock wires. This way I can have my OBDll port open at all times, along with a cleaner look and install. On another note did you get pricing from that shop that does the custom screen. What screen are you going to use. I dont want to use a Alpine while I have a Pioneer head unit, that would look tacky. Pioneer currently does not have a screen for sale but they have an older model we could try to source somewhere. This older model matches our Pioneer unit perfectly. Here is a link, maybe you can help me source one. I am sure we can find one if we both try. Here is the link: Pioneer USA - AVD-W7900 - Rear Seat Viewing Enjoyment for Friends and Family It has a glossy bezel that matches our unit. Edit: Also it has a small speaker in the back of the unit. This would be great for the alarm feture of the HKS Camp2 that warns you when you hit a critical setting. |
Waiting on info on that shop, when I get that I will give them a call and see what they suggest. They might have some of those sitting around that they never sold, but who knows.
Not 100% sure what sensors were ordered, of course boost, but not sure on the other one (maybe A/F?). |

I think our only hope for getting the pioneer screen is to find it our self on the net. I will order one as soon as I find one. This shop can do it with any screen. The do a nice little trick with welding plastic. |
