Check my journal...I spun 2 rod bearings. Motor should be done Friday and hopefully pick up the car next weekend.
I wish I could join you at SEMA. I've always wanted to go.

10-29-12 video update
A few GoPro shots from 98intrigues camera, still getting use to using it. I'm going to do a night run tonight in the tunnel that runs under the ship channel. I want to capture the sound this kit makes

Make sure you're in the highest resolution to get the full widescreen.
Try with the windows all the way up. Also, try mounting it in the bottom left inlet of the bumper like this Just behind the gas cap Like your video, but with the window up

98: thanks for the vids and tips. I'll be sending the camera back Wednesday as I'm putting the car back in the shop tomorrow to upgrade to a 6567 turbo, fix exhaust leak, etc... I'll be purchasing the new GoPro for sure, can't thank you enough for letting me borrow it and become familiar with it, great product! I'll leave some beer money in the return package This is a short clip of a 1-3 pull 0-60: This is the tunnel I found in Houston, was super pumped.

turbo is off and being sent to Comp. for a rebuild to 7065. pistons, rods, head studz and gaskets ordered. Stillen headers on order to construct new turbo manifolds. they will be coated and wrapped. Another wastegate on order, running duels now. Sold my Work equips to help fund the project. back to the stock 40th wheels. going big in the fourth quarter! car will be down for few weeks, building bottom end in house, super excited to help put together my first VQ! No labor cost too! winning!!

Good luck with your build! What compression are you going with? No head/cam work?

goin for 600whp so I don't think head work is necessary. Ill make the final decision when everything is taken apart, VVEL tuning is looking promising. Just a simple stout build. Lowered the compression to 10:1. Dropping motor, fab new hotside piping then build bottom end. Fab and waiting on parts will consume the most time. Motor aassembly just a day or so.
