This is just the motor build, turbo and hotside piping not included yet! big power is not cheap but it sure is fun :)

Updated All Parts: Using the Megan headers as manifolds so we can cut off the triangular flanges and weld in V-Bands to prevent exhaust leaks, shitty gaskets, etc.... The inside of the turbo manifolds will be coated and the outsides will be wrapped to keep the maximum amount of heat inside. Johnny will be going back to his original twin scroll design he used on the VQ35 platforms back in the day with fantastic results. I'll update pics and statuses as the build comes along!

This setup ran 10.'s w/ power in the mid 600's till he blew the motor failing to upgrade fuel pumps :/

That spreadsheet looks somewhat like my invoice, haha. Good luck with the build! Can't wait to see this thing built and some 1/4mile times.

Hope to get her to the track in January! Praying I won't need any The Driveshaft Shop | 370Z / G37 - Nissan - Import Axles after the first visit!

Looks good! I would invest in having everything PolyDyn coated. They're local too. And why order everything from GTM??? I'd use IPP.

I've heard decent results from Poldyn coating, but not having everything done. Johnny said he wants to coat the inside of the turbo manifolds and wrap the outside. The list I made was concerning everyday prices individuals would pay buying said parts. JTran has many vendor accounts so I'll let Amber find the best deals, I'm not sure if they still do business w/ IPP. I know IPP can get his hands on anything, just not sure what route Amber will go. I'm guessing the first chunk of change will be spent on fab/turbo parts.

Don't expect "gains" from PolyDyn coatings but more of an insurance. Here is my list of items PolyDyned;
~ Pistons (Tops & Skirts)
~ All Turbo Kit Piping (Outside only, Inside showed no gains)
~ Intercooler (Went black to hide it)
~ Exhaust Manifolds
~ Turbo Hotside
~ Downpipes

I think I'm forgetting something but that is the bulk of it.

And Yeah... Amber & Johnny can get some great pricing from their Vendors. I like Kyle because he local and "I" like to support the local businesses. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm sure all our heads together can build ya an awesome car!

Yea, GTM has everything on their website for the VQ37VHR so it was easy for me to get prices on parts. I just wanted to get an estimate of what I'll be looking at. I appreciate all the information, Ron used Polydyn on all his exhaust parts too. Seems to be working well and it looks good while protecting the metal! For all I know Amber will use IPP to get most of the parts. I also read where GTM does a graphite skirt coating and ceramic top coat, I mite look into this option as well. Waiting on JTran and Amber to review my creation and tell me what more I need or don't need. Getting xcited http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/077.gif

Im so excited for this! I hope to learn from all these recent builds for when (if) I put mine under the knife sometime next year. If all goes well I can join the built motor clan as well.

That spread sheet actually does not look to bad, half of what I had thrown around in my head for costs.

I came back to your page just to listen to this for a 3rd time.
