CHADBEE PHOTOGRAPHY: 3.4L Whipple Powered Ford GT x 2

A few weeks ago I was contacted by two local auto enthusiasts that were in need of high quality photos of their cars. Both of these fine gentlemen own modified Ford GT’s that are equipped with Whipple 3.4L Superchargers and all the supporting bolt-on’s. These forced fed, mid engine, V8 powered, pump gas monsters put down over 700whp each on very conservative tunes and are just absolutely beautiful to look at. I hope every one enjoys the photos and much as I enjoyed taking them:

Thank you! I used my Nikon D700, Nikon 50mm f1.8, Nikon 18-35mm f3.5-4.5 and Alien Bee AB800 strobes(3)

That is some serious meat on the black's rear tires. Saw one in person, even though I'm a chevy man for domestice...it's a sweet ride.

Your skill as a photographer is where I wish my skills were at. Do you have any tips you could give? Or what modes/settings you use?

I'm just starting out in car photography & want to get better. I own a nikon d5100, 16-85mm vr2, & a 70-300mm vr2 lens as my 2 primary lenses.

nice shots as usual chad, #8 has some flash hotspots on the red car that would be easy to get rid of... looks like you got them off the black car

I shoot in manual mode using pretty advanced techniques of shooting, lighting and editing. For somebody just starting I always recommend this site:
