Your car looks darker than Gun Metallic for some reason. Maybe the lighting. What are those lines going across the pictures?

If your referring to ZScr3am's car, it is because his is PG which i think is slightly darker than our Gun Metallic which replaced it.

i had those with no cats on my car for ooooo... about 15 min. then i took them off and sold them for a true catback. the noise is insane with test pipes and short tails. no joke, it'll make your ears bleed

Yep, That's with K&N drop-ins and Z1 post MAF tubes on the intake side and just the axle back for the exhaust side.
I have a friend who has just got his test pipes and will be ordering these soon. Edub, is it just louder than it would be with cats, or does it change the exhaust note as well?

That is really loud. You should get some vids from outside.

Not a bad idea LakeShow, I also have an idea for how to get a good exterior recording of the exhaust once I have some daylight although I may try preliminary testing tonight...

when you have the short tails and then add test pipes/headers it gets very loud and not a good loud at that. As far as doing headers I would suggest not going that route not worth the money vs the gain (plus a pain in the butt if you do it yourself). HFC is enough to get the performance you want and keep the sound IMHO. a headers/HFC setup will only work for you if you go with a SC and a CATBACK exhaust. If you like the sound and just want to free up the exhaust here is what to do get yourself a ypipe and midpipe (nismo exhaust works well for this) In fact I am getting my car back this week and I will have the ypipe and mid pipe for sale here soon HINT HINT. That will give you a great sounding setup and some performance to boot with those short tails. I wish I had video of that setup before I put headers and cats on but I didnt. Good luck with the build I like your direction.

Skeeterbop, very aggressive sound with very little $$ to boot on the mod. I like a lot. So much I may just make this my next mod. Thanks for introducing me to AAM.

Since I haven't seen a pic of it, does the s-tune get rid of the y-pipe for a H or X pipe?
