It's a good HU. It was sticking out too much so I had to drill a couple of extra holes on the OEM bracket. Now it sits flush.

Great looking Z, love everything you've done to it. I've been looking for the DIY thread for the headlights but haven't found it, if some help thanks I'm looking to do the same thing.

Here you go DIY: how to make your headlights black housing with 20 bucks...

Thnx guys. IMO DIY is the only way to go. Getting a new part/mod is cool but installing it yourself makes it even better. You save a whole bunch of money, you have fun and you learn stuff.

DIY is very rewarding. Not only do you save money but you also learn a lot about your car (and cars in general). As long as you take your time to research and prepare, and then take your time when you are installing parts, you will be totally fine. Not to mention since its your car you know that you did everything right instead of half-assing it.

Plus with as many members as we have on this forum I'm sure if you need it there is someone nearby willing to help you out! And there are tons of helpful DIY guides here on the forum.

good looking ride man.

Ive considered doing my headlights in PG or satin black but im a scared and not brave enough. I remember seeing alot of civics doing this and then having the problem with condensation building up inside the headlamps. Looks really good though!!

Thnx again all. Astrosfan; yeah the headlight job is intimidating but it wasn't that bad really. There is enough caulk in there to reseal them properly. It took me 12 hours for the whole thing, but then again I was being super meticulous and thinking about everything 3 times before actually doing it lol. If you want to match them to the car I would take the housing to the bodyshop to get painted. If you're doing matte or satin black just use Krylon. I used a heat gun instead of the oven too.

I re ordered the Fairlady Z badge since it had to be removed by the bodyshop. I also got a little something on the mail from Mike for my brake calipers, it should do until I get them PCd.

I am about to do a diff and trans oil change right now
