Anytime man! I just saw a PG Sport Z on Keith Harrow and Clay.. that you?
Also guys, posting this here too; anybody going TT that is interested on a Fast Intentions 3inch exhaust system pm me now! Serious inquiries only, can't make Tony waste time. |
I'll go ahead and throw a feeler on my exhaust. It will be for sale in the next 3-4 weeks. FI TDX with 18in resonators, SS cans. Shines like the first day I got it, 5k miles on it, clean tips every time I wash the car. Prefer local but can ship at buyers expense. $1100 OBO.

So tempting man but might be a little out of the price range....

Are you just going to fill the opening or add the nav control button and fill that like in one of the other pictures? I like mine, but I was curious to see how it would be done if you left the U shaped dash kit piece and just added a piece on top to cover the opening.
|
I will cover it up with a piece of plastic and mount a touch pad for the computer in there. EVC will probably go on the center console. Can't do anything till next week bc TT is being installed! :D

http://images10.newegg.com/NeweggIma...152-003-01.jpg You should mount your EDFC in there. |
We were thinking of mounting the EDFC there, but ended up putting in the the center console which I like. I change it maybe a couple times a week at the most so being hidden is nice.
|
Ron, that looks awesome!!
|
Thank you sir!

Hope all goes well on the tt install |
One of the best builds imo. Clean as hell, small, simple mods thus far but they are all impressive and combined makes a big impact as a whole.
The digital gauges..my god. |

Windows 8 is definitely not ready yet, but by the end of the year it might be a solid solution to run. Especially with Metro UI giving you real world data, if you have a data connection, and you can quickly jump into different programs from OBDII reader, GPS, web browser, etc.
|
yep, exactly why I tried it. It also does not work well since most of the gestures, or at least the more often used ones, are activated from dragging on the very edge or corner of the screen, since most monitor are not flush with the bezel is very hard to touch the right spot for the command to be recognized, specially on such a small screen.
There are several "front end" software for car pcs that lets u integrate whatever you want and make it look like an HU. Centrafuse and roadrunner are two of them. I wont be using this pc for media since I have my HU for that so as of now this is just for engine monitoring. |
Looks awesome man congrats. Now can you do this on cars like mine that have the navigation system already?
|
Thank you. It's been done. I do not know what needs to be done as far as wiring goes to make the stock display work as the pc monitor. Check this out: Best G37 Gauges! (Turbo, Engine, Speed, Temp) - MyG37

Where'd you get that bottom plastic piece for the upper cubby? I would love to find some sort of plastic to fit my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7"!!!

You mean the shroud for the screen? I got it off of a navi model center console and cut the bottom part off since it does not fit with the base/nismo trim.
I also used the bracket that holds the screen in place on the navi model. I had to modify it (make a whole for hdmi cables and extend the location of the screws) so that my screen would align with the shroud. |
