Why hello there carbon fiber

Ron 11-22-2011 11:13 PM

It needs some color. I'm thinking red silicone hoses and painting the center section of the engine cover red. What do you guys thinks about a white strut bar? Or red.. Not sure.. Anybody wanna do a chop? :)

Just be careful with painting the strut bar, a few guys have done red and after a couple weeks it looks pink.

Ron, does your front CF piece (radiator cover) touch the hood at all over by the windshield fluid cap area?
Mine has touched and I need to talk to PWJDM I think because the CF has rubbed and does not look good.

Ron 12-06-2011 09:23 AM

Yes it does a bit on these locations. Actually I'm gonna talk to them too.

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...DSC00397-1.jpg

theDreamer 12-06-2011 09:24 AM

My right side is good, never had a problem but exactly where you circled on the left is my problem area.
If I can get by Baker this week I will get you a picture so they know it is more than one person.

Ron 12-06-2011 09:25 AM

Sounds good! Let me know

theDreamer 12-06-2011 09:31 AM

How is the radiator fluid piece working out? You got it from UAM right?

Ron 12-06-2011 09:35 AM

Yep, its good.. the only thing I don't like is that it vents out of the cap instead of through a dedicated hose like on the stock tank. You get some coolant on the cap and on the hood because of this, nothing major though, just a few drops.
