gettin quite a few mod threads stackin up so i figured it was about time to start one of these...

So i bought the z about 4 months ago after some heavy debating between that, a cayman s, and a 335i bmw. I absolutely love the look of the z and wouldnt trade it for anything after owning one. Well enough with the chit chat. when i bought it, it had tsw nurburgrings, Injen intakes, and test pipes.

this is the week i bought it:

the overall rasp really bothered me so i purchased a CNT catback about a month and a half later . The quality of such an inexpensive system was AMAZING imo and has so far been my best bang for the buck purchase.

then i decided the stance needed a little work so i dropped it on some swifts.

the drop was good but spacers were definately needed. so i picked up some ichiba 15mm type II's for the rear. and this was the result

also, at about the same time that i bought spacers i spotted a stillen front lip that i REALLY liked, so i decided that had to go on as well... small, clean, nothing too flashy.

so this is where i currently sit.... not completely finished, but definately starting to take shape the way i want it to.

nice! What site are you using to upload the pictures from your phone? Everytime i upload mine to photobucket it makes my images small..

edub370 09-13-2011 09:03 AM

I just dump them from my phone to my pc, then upload them to an album i created on this site

... starting to think i want some evo r side blades to go with this stillen lip....

opinions?

Astrosfan 09-29-2011 10:14 AM

I think some black side blades and blacking out your fangs and valence would look really good. Nice, clean, simple....

Red__Zed 09-29-2011 05:06 PM

Looking good:tup:

Dallaz 09-29-2011 05:21 PM

Looks really good. Those spacers were definitely needed, sits perfect! Third from the bottom is the best shot BY FAR. If that don't make the calendar imma be pissed! Lol

Some awesome locations

edub370 09-29-2011 11:01 PM

thanks guys. took all those when i was bored this past sunday. kc really has some beautiful areas to take pics.

wonder if the blacked out evo r rear diffuser would go nicely with that stillen front lip

its the little things like this that i like. makes i different, but still subtle

http://www.the370z.com/members/edub3...dy-z-badge.jpg

edub370 04-18-2012 03:29 PM

just got the z dyno tuned by chad at mkc.

and... i didnt get a baseline (dummy me). BUT ended the day with 293whp and 243tq.. while i was there he was doing the last couple runs. picked up about 3whp in the last 2 pulls.

Now, i wasn't chasing a whp increase as much as i was wanting to pick up some response and a little low end torque. both of which were addressed. and may i say, that taking out that STUPID electronic throttle delay was the best thing EVER!

wish i woulda thrown some 93 oct instead of 91 so i coulda had a better chance of breaking 300whp.

however, even without the baseline, this does give me a good starting point for future mods

edub370, your car looks really nice & I definitely like what you have done with it. Nothing is overkill, but just right big guy.

LakeShow 04-18-2012 04:21 PM

Very nice subtle mods edub. It's nice it came with a little goodies from the start.
