DIY Headlight mods
Hi folks :hello: im sorry for the delay of the pics as i'm a bit busy lately..
anyway, here's the DIY as i promised! first off, i removed the strut bar and engine covers, continued with front bumper and headlights  http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6225/6...dbb102fa_z.jpg http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6037/6...8d7f27b3_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7159/6...4d3dff7e_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7033/6...68bc2394_z.jpg next, here comes the HARDEST part. You guessed it right, opening the HEADLIGHT!! i used both Simota's and Digitonium's DIY and these took me about 1 and a half days to open!! :shakes head: I didnt take pictures when i pried the headlights as im too busy opening them and my hand's all messed up with all those greases from the bolts and nuts :p after 1 1/2 days, i've successfully removed them!! thank god i didnt screwed up! :happydance: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7011/6...74c85ddd_z.jpg taking off the boomerang amber reflector http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7161/6...e9f6baf1_z.jpg at first, i'm thinking of only blacking it out but then the ideas come to me and i tried all of them and come out with these! i look at Alex's and Igor's work for my inspiration  thanks to both of you guys :tiphat: blacking out the housing : http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7001/6...7877a8de_z.jpg as of the shrouds, i sent them to the painting shop as i wanted to match my exterior  and usually pearl white comes with many variations of hue http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6050/6...b4452016_z.jpg testing the LEDs and Halo rings :happydance: and yeah this is before i blacked out the housings :p http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7035/6...ed546503_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7149/6...54a0da80_z.jpg my own demon eye  http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7022/6...f75ff55c_z.jpg and here's the outcome once i get them installed, look gazillion times better than stock!!:tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup::tup: :tup::tup: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6050/6...042fbb6a_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7145/6...103095f4_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7144/6...3aab08d6_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7151/6...136c67b4_z.jpg both sides installed : http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7008/6...cf3245bc_z.jpg testing the halo rings on car : http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7149/6...ae377476_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7033/6...ce4b4379_z.jpg the final outcome!! here's an eye candy for all of you  http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7025/6...4837ebe2_z.jpg white chick :yum: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7023/6...c43bf950_z.jpg |

Mods added.
As to let everyone know, i've traded my AAM short tail and Swift spec R spring with one of my friend and he's a regular member on this forum (KembayauZ). Now i'm using his Invidia Gemini's CBE. I've also installed Stillen Gen 3 intake and 34 row oil cooler that i bought from Z1. I've also ordered H&R spring from one of my fav vendors @Kris of 370ZTune. Here's the pics
Yeay parts! http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7165/6...6ebb6150_z.jpg the G3!!:happydance: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7014/6...360bc626_z.jpg H&R http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7028/6...e564e458_z.jpg |
Z1 34 Ror oil cooler & Invidia cbe
After a couple of days installing the Gen 3, i went to the same place and installed the oil cooler and the cbe, replacing my AAM short tail.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7002/6...cd079e7e_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7014/6...a4f6cf1a_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7141/6...55d2fea8_z.jpg and yeah, i forgot to mentioned that i've also changed the engine oil & filter since the oil cooler is already installed. My previous oil is Shell Helix Ultra fully synthetic and oem filter and my installer recommended HKS super racing 10W 35 fully synthetic oil with hks filter and amazingly, they feels much better!! http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7150/6...99ab30fe_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7026/6...cc8d978c_z.jpg okay, move on to the Invidia cbe  http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7033/6...3547b9ed_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7022/6...b906a234_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7158/6...dc06a17c_z.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7155/6...06d4481b_z.jpg :tup::tup: :happydance: :happydance: :happydance: |

H&R Springs
Continuation of the above, i bought this spring to replace my swift's that i sold to a friend of mine. Anyway, back to the topic. I bought this off from Kris@370ZTune with a great deal.
