I will finish taking it off eventually. Just got tired of doing it in my parking lot while it was 95* outside. I do love the look of the wheels with the gunmetal plasti dip, but if it's going to get ruined everytime I get my tires changed them it's not worth it to respray them.

The car looks better overall with silver wheels imo. Adds contrast to match the silver door handles / z emblem / headlights.

Wheels will most likely end up staying silver for now.....unless I find a way to keep the plasti dip from getting ruined with every tire change. Maybe I should just paint them instead. Want to do something to hide the scrapes.

Right now with no cooler I'll hit 225 in stop and go traffic with A/C on full blast. Been debating on picking up a small 25r cooler.

Yeah. You should only really get it if you're gonna do hard spirited driving when it's really hot outside or if you plan on tracking it. Otherwise I've been fine without one for over a year now. Come on the cruise this Saturday and monitor your temps. Should help you decide if you need one or not.

I've been thinking about painting my wheels, but Dan says that the paint will get scraped up too. What if I go to a place that has a touchless tire mounting machine? I want to do paint because it's more permanent than plasti dip and much easier to clean. Duplicolor has a gunmetal wheel paint that I was thinking about trying. Here's a wheel that was done in that color

You could powdercoat them. That will last and look great.

Only problem with powdercoating is the cost. I'd rather spend that same amount of money on an HPDE. Then you also have to pay to dismount and then mount the tires.

Didn't truly realize how dusty my new brakes were till this past weekend. With the lighter silver color of my wheels it's WAY easier to notice all the dust and literally impossible to keep them clean. Washed them on Saturday after the cruise and they were pretty dirty again after just a 20-30 min drive. Right now they are slowly turning back into that same dark gray color that they were before
