May I make a suggestion. Cut the white piece of the tinted tail light. It'll give it a better look and you will be able to see the white light when backing up better. I do have a question. When lowering did you do simply springs, and if so do the tires wear on the inside/outside in even?

Well the tail lights are painted so I can't really cut anything out. I thought about doing it like that at first, but I like this look better. The led lights in the tail lights are bright enough that there is absolutely no problem seeing them through the paint. They are actually brighter with the paint than most other cars that don't have led tail lights.

For lowering, I just did the Swift springs. Haven't really checked the tire wear in a while, but that should depend on the camber settings for your alignment. With negative camber, I think the inside of the tires should wear faster than the outside, but how much different they are depends how far out your camber is. Some one please correct me if I'm wrong about this.

These pics didn't come out that good. I'll try to get some better ones at some point. Also I updated my first post and added the brake mods to the list.

Thanks guys!

Just a heads up Craig, you'll need 2 cans each of the paint and the brake cleaner. Have fun

The red brakes really stand out from far away, especially with the dark colored wheels.

I'm never one to mess with superior experience and technical skills. I figured you might be cool doing mine. I could watch and learn.

You might want to talk to Rob about that. I did essentially the same thing. He taught me how to take off one caliper then I took off the rest myself. If I ran into any issues I just asked him for help. I want to learn how to do all of this work on my car on my own and both Rob and Kirk have been amazingly helpful with that. Thanks a lot guys

Well that's me too. I have never taken a caliper off a car in my life, much less paint it. First time for everything I guess ... really looks good dude. Kudo's to those guys for helping out and teaching you stuff.

Here are some better pics, but I still can't seem to get good lighting for a decent side shot.

Finally got my brakes working properly. The new brake setup has WAY more stopping power than before. My car's stopping power is now limited by my tires and not my brakes. Any hard braking and the ABS kicks in. They are louder and a lot more dusty, but I can teal with that even as my DD. HIGHLY recommend this to everyone with the stock pads. A great way to upgrade your braking power without having to pay $1k-2k for a sport package upgrade.

Also if you want to consider it a "mod", I pulled the steering lock fuse from my car today. No more worrying about the steering lock failing

Nice work, Shahid. Car is looking good Id really love to get my calipers powdercoated. Your paint job came out looking pretty nice though. I actually did the same thing to the calipers on my 1990 300zx. Also, congrats on the improved stopping power!
