did you take off the badges and paint them?..

ithink your car will look a lot cleaner without the 370 graphics!

Bibimbap 04-27-2009 05:48 PM

Everything except for the decal looks good.

well yeah but i had some guy do it for me.

im thinking of taking the graphics off and just doing everything black.

Bibimbap 04-27-2009 06:50 PM

If your going for the blacked out approach, whether it is conservative or wild. You should definitely go for some nice concave wheels and get the lights blacked out. Would look sick!

m4a1mustang 04-27-2009 06:55 PM

Definitely take those decals off!

monthtrial 04-28-2009 02:00 AM

The car is too nice - the decals hugely detract from its overall appeal.

iceman21_23 04-28-2009 04:04 AM

Please take off the graphics... this isn't a mustang

u155282 04-28-2009 04:32 AM

down with stick-ons. your car is too nice to do that to it.

monthtrial 04-28-2009 06:09 AM

Irony

Just a rhetorical question...

Did you subconsciously feel the need to advertise the identity of your car w/ those decals cuz you've blackened-out the badges?

Zboi513 04-28-2009 09:11 AM

^good question

steveg78 04-28-2009 10:02 AM

You know, maybe it wouldn't look that bad if the gray line of the graphic continued along the to the rear quarter panels and front fenders...It kinda has a retro look to it. While not my style, I can appreciate it. i could have sworn I've seen this done on a 260 or 280 before.

trema 04-28-2009 11:40 AM

Decal off yet??

Also, it just seems odd with the front badge blacked out, but the shiney Z-turn markers still there. Just looks like the front badge has been stolen.

shabarivas 04-28-2009 11:57 AM

PLEASE it hurts... take off those decals

CrownR426 04-28-2009 12:08 PM

Oh god...
Please take those decals off, I hope your dealership did that lol...
Other than that!
Sweet ride brotha!

armensti 04-28-2009 03:37 PM

dayummmmmmmm calm down people. ill take them off but i need you guys to tell me what to use to clean off the spot that the decals left.

Bibimbap 04-28-2009 03:44 PM

if the spots aren't too big, you can use goo gone.

shabarivas 04-28-2009 03:56 PM

+1 on goo gone!!

RCZ 04-28-2009 08:47 PM

do NOT use goo gone on your paint... you may rub the paint off.

armensti 04-29-2009 03:14 PM

i took everything off and you cant see anything really but at night when the car gets this mist on it ( the thin layer of water or whatever it is ) you can see it if the light hits it.

370z 04-29-2009 03:56 PM

not feelin the decal... :shakes head:

but rest A+
