Good catch! My aunt owned the Grabber Orange 'stang and then she had some work issues and she sold it and purchased a Nissan Cube. Then things at work turned out not being as bad and she didn't have a very good experience with the Cube so....back to a 2009 Mustang GT Premium....here's a few pics of it:

i saw that vid already....lol

you know what would finish it off nicely.

forget the blue pin stripe on the wheels, powdercoat or paint the calipers blue, that would go nicely with the blue body colour and the blue volks decals

Caravanshaka 07-25-2009 03:27 PM

I'll be doing the same with my calipers whenever I get my powdercoating oven finished. Going with a pearl white behind my black wheels

BTW, looks fantastic, forgot to tell you in my first post! looks like your rear is a tad lower than your front to me, but it could just be the angles. I wish I could drop mine that far, but I wouldn't be able to get out of the driveway, lol.

2theextreme 07-25-2009 03:30 PM

Here's a much longer video taken by another the370Z member, tooohip. He actually came from Baltimore to see the car in person! Thanks for posting the video and it was great meeting you!

Oh! I know why! I still have a box of stock parts in my trunk. The headers and the coilovers. I gotta take that box and retake some photos. :icon17:

And regarding the tires:

They are 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +12
265/35/19 - Front
305/30/19 - Rear

Yes! Jon and I figured it out after we downloaded the owners manual and found the correction. I was trying to correct the issue in the ACC positon but it needed to be in the ON position. Close the door...hold the lever for 3 seconds or more and boo yaa! Two working windows again! :icon17:

And you know what? No Sienna's messed with me! I was so concentrating on my car I really didnt notice anyone ooo'ing and ahh'ing....but hopefully they were!

Definately gonna take some getting used to, thats no lie! I did make it out of Altered without scraping the black plastic piece under the bumper!

I do feel a slight shimmy and the steering wheel needs to turned slightly to the right to make the car go straight. I'll drive it for a few weeks to let the coilovers settle and then come back for an alignment. Sound good?

Thanks, Jon & Altered for everything! The experience has been amazing from the start to the finish.....but we aren't at the finish yet.....;)

I've got a few questions - what advantage do you get with these Stillen pulleys. I don't quite understand what they are for - its not supercharged is it. What are the pulleys for, alternator, water pump?!?!?!?!

Also, these intakes - do they work in-sync with some sort of chip for better performance, or is it mostly looks that you get with them.

Car looks unreal by the way - Black and blue, can't go wrong - great job buddy.

First, thanks for the compliment! I appreciate it! :tiphat:

Here's what it says from the Stillen website regarding the pulleys:

STILLEN has long manufactured precision pulleys for our supercharger kits. We have used this expertise to produce a new line of high performance crank and accessory pulleys.

Each pulley is machined from 6061 aerospace grade billet aluminum with a bold new design to maximize performance, strength and minimum weight. 304 stainless steel sleeves are used for main seal contact points for durability. Stock timing marks are maintained and keyways are precision broached. All pulleys are CNC turned, milled and balanced based on computer generated designs.

Up to 80% lighter weight than stock steel and up to 10% lighter than other aftermarket pulleys, we’ve seen power gains of up to 10+ HP at the wheels.

I believe the one I purchased (Lightweight Standard Crank Pulley) also assists with making the 7AT shift smoother. I also added the Gates belt, too. And no, no supercharger on mine......yet (;))

kdoske 08-02-2009 09:43 AM

I have the same color combo as you. Just curious if you plan on tinting the windows or not? Normal I tint windows but the Blue and Persimmon color combo is so incredible that I don't even want to cover that up. Just curious to what your thoughts are. I thought about maybe doing a 90-95% Ceramic tint just to stop the heat though.

nogoodname 08-02-2009 09:44 AM

i'd go atleast 35% tint.....it's still too visible for me

Tinting is still an option for me.....after all the other stuff I've done it may have to take a backseat for a little bit....but the thought of it is always there. ;)
