A little update for you guys:
I'm quite dissatisfied with my dealer's service. If I could take back the purchase, I would. It seems like whenever they get their money, they could care less about you. Anyways, as some of you may recall, I noticed some paint defects in the right front fender. I have no idea where they came from. My particular dealer said they had to go about this lengthy process of having a Nissan representative come out, verify the defect, and then allow the dealer to fix it. Foolishly, I went along with it because I'm not too familiar with how Nissan handles warranties. After weeks of calling the dealership and getting the same response of "we haven't heard anything regarding the representative", I finally had enough called another dealer to see if they could go about fixing it. I told them exactly what my dealer said, and they said that that was indeed incorrect, and all that has to be done is to take some pictures of the damage, and send it into Nissan corporate. After that, a Nissan representative would give the dealer the go ahead. So essentially, the representative doesn't need to be there in person, and I could have had this whole thing fixed a week and half ago. Well, I call back the other dealer, and essentially let them have it. Albeit, they were sales managers, but the service manager called me the day after saying they will fix it this week. So yeah, that's where I'm at. The Z is at the local dealership, and should be fixed by or on Friday. They are going to wet-sand the fender, call me and see if the repair is satisfactory. If not, then the panel will be repainted. I just hope I don't notice anything else after its all said and done. P.S. The dealer is Germain Nissan of New Albany (Ohio) Rant over.

Update:
The wet-sanding of the fender wasn't attempted as the specialist only had to look at it to realize paint was required. That's where I am at now. My car is getting ready for paint. I just hope there won't be any paint matching issues, and I certainly hope I don't find anymore issues after that either.

Update:
The dealership called in another specialist to attempt the wet-sanding. This guy did some of the best work I have ever seen. There is just a tiny blemish where the original scratches were, but I can buff those out. It feels great having the car back.

A word of advice, never let your dealer wash or heaven forbid detail your car. They are all amateurs. Call a pro. I have had plenty of issues with dealerships over the years. All of my customers who have let the dealer touch their cars, have damaged them to some degree. Just my .02.
