Some updates...

Re move to Florida, I think we've narrowed down our next house options and unfortunately won't be buying the race track neighborhood! lol I did start an official Florida thread on this site, however, so please join and contribute if you're in that part of the US The Official FLORIDA Thread

I'm also thinking about ditching the OEM winshield for SpeedGlass branded Lexan windshield... thoughts on that? which thickness should I order?
