It says it takes tire temperature as well, but how does it do that? I guess it is measuring the air temperature inside the wheel?

correct, from the air... at best, an indication of actual tire temps... not a substitute for direct pyrometer measurement

You would actually be in Unlimited RWD with the Hoosiers so you would be up against the FX car that ran a 2:13.1 . Toyo R888s and Nitto NT01s are the competitive Modified Class tires.

You would be better off getting some Mod class legal tires as that NSX is at a level I don't think any 370Z could ever reach.

The NT01's are a pretty decent track tire. Not quite as much grip as R6's but still a bunch more than even the best street tire. I would take them over R888's for dry events, although R888's are much better wet.

I'm with you... already planning transition to NT01's for NASA TTA classing... was being tongue in check about chasing the NSX time... my weight to power ratio is >10... the NSX is half that

Hey Travis,
Why did you switch back to stock sway bars? Is it better than the after market ones? I am thinking of getting hotchkis sways.
Thanks
Kevin

I'm only removing them to fit into my "points cap" with NASA. They will be back on next year.

Hotchkis sways will do well for you, go for it!

I've been in touch with a 350 racing team that has a fix for the fuel starvation issue. It's an in tank fix. They get down to a 1/2 gal of gas with no issues. Should be available in a few weeks. No pricing as of yet. No other details.

I'll let everyone know when I get more information.
