fuel starvation: diffuser used?

Maybe you should just install a racing fuel cell at this point. I am certain that you have already considered this.

thanks but not just yet, Mr Zless... the 104 target applies to Phoenix Intl Raceway... add 4-6 seconds for typical spread between the two... For a track record, I likely still have 4-6 seconds to make up at PIR and 2-3 seconds at Firebird.... very long journey ahead!

I have worked on many World Challenge GT/Touring, and some ALMS machines. The tinnerman washers were used by most of the top teams, and really are effective and the best solution that I have seen to mount a splitter. This way you keep a flat bottom, no chances of tearing off mounts, and you get the benefit of a washer helping to distribute the load evenly on the mounts.
Let me know if you have any questions. I have worked on a couple splitter designs for GT3 Cup cars, and I have a full solid model of one for my S2000, done in PRO-E. Just dont have the time/money/tools needed to build it . Last edited by ads370z; 03-15-2010 at 12:05 PM. |

Can't remember who I sold my center console to, but I need it back. Or need another one... it doesn't really matter what condition, just need one to comply with RTA Modified rules... anyone have one or know of someone who would? Thanks

Does Sharif still have his?
Edit: He might be using his to comply with rules also.

FWIW, I haven't heard of any 370Z builds for time attack unlimited class. Maybe try junkyards to see if anyone has a 370Z yet. If they do, chances are the center console is in good shape.

I asked the organizer and they said 'no'... lots of sensitivity among the tuners about cars looking at least somewhat stock.... I need to put the stock rear glass back on too... I'm going to miss the march RTA anyways, so no rush... just need to get it done for the April 23-25 RTA event in Vegas
