Pretty sick entertainment room dude, you think your going to be doing any events early 2012 season? I'd love to see your car. Ive only done one event with CMS but you get twice the track time you do with NASA - not bashing NASA in the least here - CMS costs more. Im probably going to at least do VIR with them next year, maybe Road Atlanta again as well, assuming my job schedule allows it.

Yes, in fact, I was planning to run Chin at Sebring this weekend, but schedule just pushed back a bit more on the SC install. They are a great club from what I understand... no worries posting the CMS link here - that sort of thing is encouraged! :tup:

Rear mount cooling is for the rear differential. Do a search on "rear diff cooler travisjb 370z" in google and I'm sure the details will show up.

Thanks! the wiring was the biggest poa in this room... some high voltage for under-cabinet lighting, then of course 1/4 mile of low voltage for speakers and so I can plug in media and controls from different parts of the room... the receiver, computer and xbox are in a media closet for example, so all the peripherals feed in through USB over cat 5

Update... car is now Supercharged and running! Tuning hopefully tomorrow... everyone keep in mind that we will be DE-TUNING my car for a target weight/power ration, so don't expect big numbers. The goal is flat curve and 380-390whp

Yes. Because HP is a "function" of torque, that is, HP is just torque multiplied by RPM. That said, because they are only using the peak power in the calculation you can try and bend the curve a little and have a mid range boost without it being counted against you.

Cool! i will be very interested in how it works on the track. im debating on whether i go FI and have been waiting to see a serious track car to go this route to see problems. i dont like forging new ground $$$$$.

curious what are you doing to detune? A motor that has good flat power curve may actually outperform a peaky motor on certain tracks. Certainly better in traffic. only time peaky motors are good is when you have lots of open track in front of you with no one to slow you down.

A few things... 1) motordyne intake manifold helps a little bit... 2) we are using the biggest pulley for the GTM SC II kit... 3) uprev tuning... and if we have to sacrific a bit of RPM upper limit we will...

I'm no expert on tuning so it's kind of finger's crossed at this point. We'll see what Jack at HP Logic can do!
