Update... car is now Supercharged and running! Tuning hopefully tomorrow... everyone keep in mind that we will be DE-TUNING my car for a target weight/power ration, so don't expect big numbers. The goal is flat curve and 380-390whp

Yes. Because HP is a "function" of torque, that is, HP is just torque multiplied by RPM. That said, because they are only using the peak power in the calculation you can try and bend the curve a little and have a mid range boost without it being counted against you.

Cool! i will be very interested in how it works on the track. im debating on whether i go FI and have been waiting to see a serious track car to go this route to see problems. i dont like forging new ground $$$$$.
curious what are you doing to detune? A motor that has good flat power curve may actually outperform a peaky motor on certain tracks. Certainly better in traffic. only time peaky motors are good is when you have lots of open track in front of you with no one to slow you down.

A few things... 1) motordyne intake manifold helps a little bit... 2) we are using the biggest pulley for the GTM SC II kit... 3) uprev tuning... and if we have to sacrific a bit of RPM upper limit we will...
I'm no expert on tuning so it's kind of finger's crossed at this point. We'll see what Jack at HP Logic can do! |

It should not make as much peak power as the stock one but might help to flatten the curve.

That's what I'm getting from it, as it seems like the M370 manifold loses top end (but gains mid-range), at least on all of the dyno charts I have seen.
