I really want to do Skip. I was going to do Road Atlanta this winter before my daily died and I picked up the truck. They were pretty convincing and offered some good discounts... including a $500/person discount if I brought a friend.

Went by the body shop today. Been there for two weeks. Yea, they haven't touched it yet.

Guess it's different when paying out of pocket.

arghh... that is so frustrating... been there

you might consider pulling the car... sometimes these kinds of delays can be a sign for how much time they will put in when they actually do get started on it

They are a good shop and I've seen plenty of there work. Wouldn't trust no one else. He admited to the tech that will be working on it is slow. But none of his work has came back like the others. Even for small things.

They aren't feeding him any kind of sandwich. Its an extremely high quality shop. I've had numerous body shop experiences over the last 25 years. I've had 1 major and 2 medium and 2 minor repairs done here, and its the only bodyshop that I have never had to go back to have something adjusted afterwards. They are just really busy.

Car is going on frame machine today.

On another note I spent a couple hours there today putting on my SPL camber arms, Toe arms, and lockout bolts. I have to say SPL products are the best products I've ever had alignment wise. Very light weight, double adjustable, and solid bushings instead of the crappy stock mushy rubber bushings. And with the added lockout bolts and washers there's no doubt there will never be slip in the rear.

Can't wait to get there complete solid bushing kit to eliminate all the stock rubber bushings. Costy at over $400 but will be well worth it. And if SPL can get there butts on gear and produce some front camber arms I'd be good.

I also received my AP BBK today also. I'm in love with these. Just having two piece rotors makes me giggle. There undoubtfully lots of weights savings there. I'll weigh them later and let you guys know.
