Thanks. I thought so too. It really surprised how simple powder coating is. Glad I got to see it first hand.

Today I installed Z1's protective sheathing over my oil cooler lines. This is defiantly worth doing for I was seeing mild rubbing on the crash beam and other very small areas. These things are pretty cool. Just slide over and take a heat gun to them. Then I still will be installing my left over heater hose on the more severe areas. That's me. I go over board.

Plus I got to reroute my oil lines in a more uniform way. Looks much better than before. Plus you shouldn't have to look to closely to see my setup for my oil pressure gauge. I got the sensor installed and some basic wiring. Will have more on that later. At least there was no leaks. Will be working more on tomorrow but not sure I'll get finished being I have another gauge to run with some other small beans in my bag.

It will have to be this weekend. I got the gauges ran and running but not installed in the cubby. It's been a busy day so I stopped. Trying to enjoy my last day off. But I'll have it all up soon.

Default Gauge install complete

DIY-Water Temp Gauge

Well after a couple of weeks I finally got my Oil Pressure and Water Temp gauge installed. Now I have a peace of mind having a oil pressure gauge and a better accurate water temp gauge. I'd like to give thanks to Forged Performance and Z1 Motorsports for for my parts and suggestion on the install. So nice to have two great shops in one state.

I will have video up tomorrow.

I chose the AEM gauges due to great cost and being a reputable company.

Also you will notice the one off custom cubby hole plate I made. Also had it powder coated in wrinkle black by Mike (THEPOWDERCOATER.COM). Thanks for the suggestion and work.

Oil Pressure Setup

Most might have seen spearfish25 oil pressure setup (DIY: Oil Pressure Gauge). First thanks for the great DIY. Made it so easy.

But so far as the mounting of the sensor I went a different route (more expensive though). I bought a Greddy sandwich plate that is stacked on to my already GTM thermostat plate. Even though I got this I still had to purchase a BSPT male to NPT female adapter from Autometer to make them work together ben that the Greddy (Japan are BSPT threads) and AEM ( US are NPT threads). Will see in pics below.

Water Temp Gauge

My DIY
DIY-Water Temp Gauge

Water temp gauge is pretty cool addition for it's defiantly more accurate than the stock one. I bought it due to I thought it would be more funtion along with having two gauges in the cubby hole giving that overall look.

You can't see the lights in the day like our stock gauges but there still very easy to glance over and read. Mostly for there closer to you than the other gauges and the white numbering make it easy to read.

Thanks man. Especially coming from you. Just wish I would of went with better coilovers. At the time I didn't know exactly where I was going and now I do. Might as well beat them as long as I have them.

What's wrong with them? Are they not performing to your expectations?
