Hood Shocks

Just installed these this past week. Had them on my 350 also. This is a great mod to have IMO. None of that hood prop crap.

SPOHN if you used that threaded hole I told you about you wouldn't need those front silver brackets.
And where are the plastic covers?

I looked where you said, there where holes but they weren't threaded. I guess I could still go back and thread them. I'm doing away with the covers. This car is eventually going to be stripped down. Do you have a pic I could see? The hole I see is also bigger than the little ball and stud I have that came extra with the kit.

Gimme a few minutes and I'll post it here.

Here's another vid of my exhaust on the dyno being wounded out. This is with GTM TP's and Greddy TI-C exhaust with silencers removed.

Here is 2 pic's I was wrong they are not threaded just a hole I put the ball thru it and put a washer and nut from underneath the strut tower. As you can see I drilled the holes for the same bracket you have but didn't use them.

Ok. Yea, that hole is not threaded per say. But The stud I have might thread itself in there. I'll have to see Sunday for it's at my dads house at the moment. I hope this works. Thanks for taking your time to do this. Repped.

3 gets my vote! I like it because the shape of the Z is most clearly defined.

gorgeous car! awesome work.

I like the 1st one. The 3rd one has too many distracting squiggles.

Looking great!

SPOHN 05-09-2011 06:48 PM

Thanks. I'm currently trying to stock up on brake rotors and pads for the track. I like keeping the basic in stock. I'll probably let this baby loose in a couple.
