Sweet not much frame damage what's the estimated time until she is back to normal?

Baer383 06-09-2012 04:08 PM

Chris's car is worst than he makes it out to be but after looking at it he wants to try to fix it,the key word here is try there are alott of factors here that can't be seen with the naked eye.
when I told him he had a bent inner tie rod he said he didn't hit anything in the front till you see a gouge in the LF wheel.
What is going to keep this car alive is a good body man, good measuring system, frame rack.
If the frame can be straighted then the car can be saved if not it will be going sideways down the track.

I have to say for the first time (serious) I'm actually super confindent in something. That something is knowing my car will be back.

But boy am I getting a lot of negative feedback from all around me. Don't get it. I've seen a hole lot worse and they had nothing but praise from there repair shops.

Wont hear anything negative from me, Chris. I pray that you get that beast fixed and run her as a track specific car. She is one bad *** ride and as Ive said before one of my fav cars on the forum. Even if she doesnt make it back after this accident I appreciate all that you have done w her:tup:

Thanks means a lot

Mike 06-11-2012 07:30 PM

dude, anything you need from me, I'm here.

SPOHN 06-11-2012 07:37 PM

Thanks Mike. I found I had a bent inner tie rod. I ordered that today along with toe arms. I get those on I can get it to Autoglo. I might need to borrow your trailer to get it there. ''Might". I'm taking off the front clip and side skirts so theres no issues loading onto any trailer. I'll be looking at trailers for sure now

my trailer is extremely low and easy to load. Its currently at Z1 though, but you are welcome to go get it. Keys to the locks are in my expedition though. It could be home this week too also.

SPOHN 06-11-2012 07:50 PM

No rush. It wont be till next week. Parts wont be here till Friday, Monday. Then I have to put them on. Super thanks Mike.
