Unfortunately, my front camber was really out of whack (-1.0 on the left and -1.6 on the right) after lowering, so I ended up getting front and rear kits to bring my alignment to -2.2 front and -2.0 rear.
I might go even lower after I get my kit installed...so I might have camber issues then. We'll see.

Ha ha, I'm sure Vancouver streets are better than Edmonton streets. I have a 3/4" front drop and 1/2" rear, and I scrape more often than I like, and I'm pretty careful.

So, what was it like to have Lambo doors on your old 350Z? What did you like about that style door, and what did you not like about them? Any special considerations to consider (e.g. caution with underground parking with ceilings less than x feet of height)?

That's weird I have about double your drop, and my camber is more in spec...

Lambo Doors? It was just a ricer kid fantasy I've had and needed to get out of my system. Popped the cherry, and I'm good now. Never again lol. It was fun for the first month though. After that, I don't bother lifting it up anymore...just open and shut. The doors you have to open normally until about 30 degrees, then you push up to lift the hydraulics. I just open to the 30 degree mark and close normally after a month. It doesn't raise that high that you have to worry about where you park. But it chews up your door inner panel though, as the guide pin isn't always fluid or accurate.

I also have 15 and 20 mm spacers, which will also increase negative camber...that's why. After the drop and before alignment my rear camber was -2.9.

I was just curious about the liveability of Lambo doors. Good to get some insight. But, Lambo doors should really just stay on a Lambo, IMO.

I agree. However a funny fact is that the first "Lambo door" was found on the 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo concept car due to it's poor rear visibility. Lambo took that idea and created the first production vehicle with the "Lambo doors" due to the same issue...poor visibility.

With our poor shoulder checking visibility, we should have gullwing doors.

And funny that the gallardo doesn't have lambo doors at all... and from what I heard the new Murc replacement will do away with the lambo doors as well.

My fav doors now is the Aston Martin's....simple, unique, elegant, subtle.

Yeah, I know the Countach had a nice ledge to sit on when you back up. ha ha. I was choked to find out the Gallardo didn't have Lambo doors. But I guess, they're moving away from that.

I'm not familiar with Aston Martin's doors...I guess I'll have to do a little research.

Once you get the TT setup done, you will want to JB weld yourself to the seat and never stop driving!

Lambo only has the scissor doors on their 12 cyl cars. Gallardo is <12.

Just drove home from the movies and dinner with the gf. It's drizzling out with barely any cars on the road. Decided to have some "fun". Wow I missed the RWD...drifting through corners, clutch slips at take off, correcting when the car breaks loose at high rpms, etc.....

And I still catch myself parking the Z, locking it and walking away, and turning around for a second look. Never did that with the GTR...just lock and go. I find girls like the Z's better as well and guys like the GTR.
