got the car back....HOLY CRAP this sounds good....... idles very quietly, but the throatiness picks up exponentially as the rpm rises... slight "hollowish" sound typical of HKS... High RPM combined with the Stillen G3 is amazing. Wow I missed the N/A sound... I'm in love with the SRM downshifts now......

Not too loud, and the sound is CLEAN, with ZERO DRONE..... couldn't be happier with this sound.

Do you notice it to be quieter than when your 350Z was NA? I feel like this car is so much quieter than when I had high flow cats and the HKS exhaust on my G35.

Only quieter at idle. I believe it's due to the VVEL. The GTR is also very quiet at idle even with my full straight pipes. You can hear the low loopy exhaust rumble from the back of the car, but still very quiet. But once I step on it, it SCREAMS like a pissed off ferrari. Drowns out most Ferrari and Lambo exhausts.

I think I'm joining the SBC on this one.....any OG 350z'ers remember what that is? :D

This has been sitting in my "parts corner" for a while now...Finally got off my *** on a Sunday night and took 20 minutes to put these on. I think it gives the rear end a little more character...and it now matches my body color.

I only opted to tint the clear strips on the rear taillights as I have to keep the red to tie in with the brakes, interior, and future plans aesthetically for the car.

So I keep hearing a small rattle noise from the passenger rear of the car since the exhaust was installed. I checked and the clearance to the evap cover is too close... So when the car is on, it would slightly hit the exhaust making a tin can rattle. So... I shaved off about an inch of the corner.

same happened to my car, when the exhaust gets hot it somehow get closer and starts touching.

so.. are you planning for a huge pwoer like the might old 420Z ??!! maybe the first 450Z this time ;)

Bullitt is already doing a 450z. I've been there done that with the strokers... might be cooking up something....."different" ;)

Thanks for the reminder. I need to put my cover back on. I took it off and dented it in so it wouldn't touch the HKS muffler but never put it back on.
