So i finally got some good driving shoes by the advice of steve (m4a1mustang)
i really like the shoes (its really nice to actually be able to feel the pedals) but that brought me to an issue. i tried to heel-toe in them, and because the sole is a bit narrower (i wear a size 10) i can't heel toe in them. I found that out the hard way as i went to blip the throttle while braking and shifting from 3rd to 2nd and i totally missed the accelerator. This problem left me with 3 solutions. 1. Turn on SRM (free) 2. Return the shoes (-$75) 3. Buy new pedals (~150) Of course, i had to opt for the third option. I just placed an order for some SRP Pedals SRP Nissan 370Z Racing Pedals I order a set with the GRID pattern (which has the best grip) in Black/Silver Anodized. The total came to 174 plus 6 for shipping. that additonal porton on the left side of the accelerator will be exactly what i need to be able to heel toe in these driving shoes. Next up is a short throw shifter. These two mods will help to make the tactile sensation of driving the z even more fun than it is now (for me at least) |

Toxik Got a new berk exhaust installed yesterday, so i bought his Nismo exhaust with an xpipe for a good deal. I love the tips, and the sound is nice. Its deeper at lower rpm, and still quiet enough for a DD. I'm happy with the look and the sound. I'm sure most people want something louder, but this suits me and what i wanted. Here are some before and after cold starts (each shot first thing in the morning on separate days)
