Yup. The old Bellport Outlets... It'll look even better when they start painting graffiti on the walls... I was pressed for time so I am going to go back around sunset one day... if you want to go together I'd be down to meet up... There's a few other spots my buddy knows of, some out east, one by little Vincents, and an old car dealership thats falling apart and you can get inside... I love old rustic looking backgrounds!!! Me too.... that was the money shot of the day... it may of looked a little better if the car was just slightly angled a bit more to see some of the side , but than again that may be what makes this pic look so good... def my favorite of the bunch.. I need to learn to start thinking out of the box and take more like this one, pics that incorporate more than just the car I would but I am actually taking tranceformers advice and going to the track! haha, he got me itching... I just got home from performance he threw my tune back on along with some tweaks... added launch control (pm me if you want to know what its about, not true launch control, but simple to use and will be effective), linear throttle that i didn't have, and a few tweaks to richen up my motor because this new one was running a bit leaner... I now have an every day map, a track map, a map for launch control, a valet map, and a map that the car wont even start... which is a great idea when parking in suspect areas~!! I can not stress enough how good of people they are in Performance Motorsports in Smithtown ..... Anyone on Long Island or even close to Smithtown should really go there. I can honestly say they are the best shop I have been to in my life and none are even close. I Also made an appointment to do a before/after dyno and install of my PE racing Long Tube Headers and a Re-Tune as needed for next Wednesday. I'm not expecting to go that great tomorrow , maybe match my 12.9 hopefully beat it but on stock rubber and my heavy-ish rims it will be tough... Car does feel outstanding right now though after the tune. It may be a little quicker than ever, but tomorrow is just for practice and to try out launch control.. I am going to be ordering Radials in the next few days and am going to attempt to get a mid 12 second pass before this season is over. IMO very do-able with all my mods. But one week I will def get down there, I am now free every Wednesday so I'll become a regular sooner or later..

Here is a video from the track... between the sport brakes and my new wheels and tires my car weighed 3420 with me in it... when last year with my 300zx wheels and stock front rims I weighed 3380.. Ive also added 7 lbs of sound dampening material since but had my front passenger seat out yesterday... I think I had a touch more gas this time too.. but traction was an issue all night... You hear me spin through first and second which sucks, than chirp third and than 4th too , never did that before... but My tube was running a bit lean according to my tuner when I checked it today , its a new motor and wasn't re-tuned, I am going to dyno and re-tune this week... I have video of a few new 5.0s one guy with intake, LTH , exhuast tune went 11.7@117 with DR's and skinnies, the rest were low 13's high 12's... some newer vettes automatic running 12.9-13.0.. CTS-V with pulley some other mods 11.7 as well... good night but should of been better if I was prepared correctly.
But without a doubt I lost some power/speed with the bigger heavier wheels.. each GTS wheel is 3.5 lbs heavier than oem 19s and the 255/305 hankooks weigh significantly more than the NT05's in stock sizes... But this run was a 2.15 60 and still managed a 13.01@108 ... not bad but I expected better... Makes me want te37's even more now... I took the hankooks down to 28 psi for this run which helped a little but I did more watching than racing last night... I just knew I wouldn't be totally satisfied with my times so I went easy and only made 3 passes... I also had two maps and had no idea which was the better one to use ... after some dyno time next week and the PE LTH and some lighther wheels and drag radials, I will go back and make a pass to be proud of... but heres the video...

Hmmm... just looked up on dragtimes DA calculator. The DA's last night in Englishtown were about (-60 ft) last night, and temps were in the mid 50's. I'd kill for that right now down here in FL!!
But yeah, I'd say there's something wrong with your tune, your car should be running awesome in that weather. For comparison, I think my best trap speed was 107.6 mph in 600ft DA's... ~70 degrees. Longtubes are on the way huh? Maybe you should try what jnaut did, raise the rev limter to 8000 or 8100 rpm. I think it would make a huge difference now that you have gears done.

My redline is at 8k as of yesterday but hasn't been tuned over 76k yet so I didn't rev past 7600, yesterday was to get used to the 3000 "two step" that he put in. Still not used to it though.
I've been thinking somethings wrong with the tune though due to simply how mich I spin when I hit second compared to last year. I thought it was low 60s ... Track prep was shlt tho and I'm going to atco next time for shlts. It's also a new motor with under 2k on it (1940) he was adding fuel on my map yesterday cause it was lean so who knows how it effected the car . I have no idea how it ended up. He said to go easy until wed. I have LTH at my house for months now just finally putting them on. The wheels are easily 6 lbs heavier each wheel which is 20+ lbs rotational weight. But even still I pull a 1.9 yesterday I woulda went 12.75 or better. But I was expecting a higher trap. First time out this year tho so I cant complain. I need lightweight 18s. If anybody has some Beaten up old wheels please lmk. I'll sand and spray em black and mount some radials. 5.0s stock were trapping 108-110 last night. Is that average for Them ?

IDK. They're always here at our track but they're almost never stock.

I spun. More. Way more. A little burnout, nothing crazy. Car didn't bog at all just have to find a sweet spot for the throttle. I spin entirely through first and second. Give me two weeks and I'll have a solid pass for sure. I coulda went again yesterday I Just saw no point as I knew things werent ideal. Went with a few buddies so I became a spectator. That last run was done around 8:30. I shoulda went around 10 when it got cool but I had enough lol

First time at the track with the 4.08s as well. I'm Very curios as to what my baseline is on Wednesday compared to first time. The dyno reads high but I put down 342 on it. The wheels should lower that a little but if it's significant I know the tunes out of whack. But I'm doing a before and after with PE long tube headers and than retune.
