I assume that was an old raceway?
Which one? Makes for some cool pictures.

Were on Long Island is this? I live out east, only place i know secluded like that is the Old Airport in Calverton.

This is the old BridgeHampton Raceway in Sag Harbor. It closed in 1999 for the same reason all the 1/4 mile tracks on the Island closed down, noise and money. The "Bridge" as it was called was one of the most famous and challenging road courses in the country back in the day. Mario Andretti said turn one was the most difficult or dangerous turns in all the tracks he raced on. Such a shame it closed down :(

Oh and I have been out on the old Calverton Runway as well, good times LOL.
