Not planning on doing an "after" dyno just for the HPS Intake hoses I really wasnt expecting any significant gains from them... Just a little cooler intake Temp and quicker throttle response thats all... I am really excited about going to Byron Raceway tomorrow to see what the results of adding these parts are. Stock last fall was a 13.3 DAN

Well I went to the track to day (Byron Dragway) lets just say it was a little brisk out. The temp was 32 deg when I pulled into the track, They didnt even finish getting the track ready until 11:00AM.
So as you can imagine the track was very slick, seeing how the high temp of the day only reached 45.. The total amount of runs that I had today was around 15, most of them were failed passes due to a bad launch because of how cold the track was or spinning tires from 2nd gear to 3rd again because of how cold the track was.. well most of the runs were low 13's very low, 5 of my runs were 13.2 or lower and I have the slips to prove them..... But the most interesting time was a 12.9 run! Yes that is right a 12.9 run with exhaust bolt-ons and stock tires! Here is the slip of proof and I even bounced the rev limiter from 3rd to 4th gear, I could have reached a quicker time! So I say today was a win for me a 12.9 Pass with street tires minimal bolt-ons and a very slick track Enjoy the pics DAN

Just listed my car on Dragtimes.com, check it out has all the info of this thread.. But I guess you are not legit unless you are on that site
Also I have been thinking of the up coming mods to the car, either Wheels/Tires/Suspension or GTM SC Kit...... Cant make up my mind! I should have an idea when it gets closer to spring. DAN

Umm...you know JNAUT is running a 12.3 on bolt-ons and Zeliminator is running I think a 12.8 also on bolt-ons.
I know you're excited about your car and you have a great start, but you also have ways to go buddy. We can certainly believe a 12.9. Do the wheel/tires/susp first....then when you get used to the performance, go with the sc. May I suggest a lightened pulley and an aluminum flywheel to go along with your mods; it will make your car more responsive and more enjoyable to drive. Also, you should really pick up a set of longtube intakes such as the Stillen (I've had great results with them) or the injen. You will pick up a good 10-15whp there. So a 12.9 with RE050As, drop-ins, test pipes and CBE is impressive. Nice run.

Didn't say it wasn't good, just that its really not all that unbelievable and there are people running much faster times. I guess the FD isn't as simple, but its still not much more than a bolt on. Flywheel won't really do much for your quarter time and tires/intakes are bolt-ons.

Bolt-on is relative. Some might say that you could just 'bolt-on' a supercharger.
And come on...tires make a huge difference. Considering what he has on his car and regardless of how you categorize the parts, he has a really good 1/4 mi time.

Thanks for the comments,
RCZ- read my paragraph at the top about the track day for the more detailed description of the weather trackl prep.... I know that 12.9 isnt a crazy time like 12.3 but also take into consideration what mods I have, no longtube intakes no aftermarket tires or final drives no ECU tune...also the fact that it was 40 deg out and I rolled off the line at 1400rpms and spun tires from 2-3rd, the track was an ice rink. I am sure that this current setup is good for 12.6 easily with a sticky track. As for the flywheel/clutch I am an Auto trans. DAN

HKS exhaust for the win. My only problem is I have a turbo and it will be time to say bye bye to HKS soon so I can upgrade to a 3" but first I have to find one l like. I wish HKS would make a 3" turbo exhaust for our car.

Just an update, I will post pictures of parts as they come in and as always show the results with dyno #'s
I just ordered Stance GR+ Coilovers and SPC Camber Arms, GTM Comp Oil Cooler 25 row Setrab (due to GTM Super Charger kit in the future), Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers, and I will have the car tuned with UpRev. I cant wait to get this stuff here and installed! I was really wanting to get the GTM Stage 1 Supercharger kit but that will have to wait until next spring DAN
