Removed Decals and front lip

Since those pictures were taken I have removed the front CF lip. The guys who delivered it smashed it a bit and with the car lowered its just too darn low for comfortable driving (in and out of parking lots).

I also removed most of the decals from the car. I didnt like the way it made me feel like Brian Spilner. I think it looks a bit more "grown up" now.

heres a few pics and a quick walk around I did with my cell phone.

Color and car are awesome!

Color is awesome.

Gold rims with that color is awesome.

Did I mention that the color is effin awesome!?!... should totally be a factory color for the Z!

Falcor 10-06-2010 08:54 PM

I agree I am incredibly happy with the color. I like how it almost looks like a factory color. Most non-Z people cant tell its custom.

Great scheme you have going there. Ever consider blackhousing the headlights?

Falcor 10-07-2010 07:43 AM

Yeah, and the tails to be smoked. I'm waiting until I get my sound system in. I've got my sub jl 10w7 but I dont have an amp, speakers or box yet. I'm having the most trouble on deciding what to do about a box. With such limited trunk space even the zenclosure box looks big.

the next one is planned around cars and coffee in north charlotte nov 6th. i believe we are talking about cruising up to price park on the BRP for a cookout then pics at the overlooks afterwords. it would be great if you could join us, i'd love to get a few shots of the ride, definitely unique!

Very nice. Looks so much better without the stickers!

Thanks! what do you think about the remaining stickers? Personally I like the extra color down on the skirt but I'm curious to find out what others think.

HKYStormFront 10-07-2010 08:07 AM

there's nothing wrong with a "grocery list", i agree with will tho, looks better without the hood stickers.

ThoriumHotdog 10-07-2010 12:36 PM

I think it does look better without the yellow stripe. Good decision on removing them.

Red__Zed 02-13-2011 04:41 PM

looks cool!

370zHawaii 02-17-2011 12:45 AM

Your car is hottttt!! Great color scheme and the decals on the side skirts look good, it's not too much it looks clean like that

Jordo! 02-17-2011 01:32 AM

The color is beautiful! I think have the hood painted to match, and just leave the vents in cf.

Unless people are still sponsoring your car (i.e., hooking you up with stuff) you might as well lose the stickers -- it's your car, not theirs.

normally I would agree, but i like how the yellow adds a little to the color scheme of the car. I think I will get bored in the near future and probably remove them though.

I think I am going to leave the hood cf also, i have a carbon fiber nismo spoiler on the way and think that they will go well together.

thanks for the compliments and comments!
