I just found out that my car is not going to be ready my tomorrow. I was supposed to pick it up from the dealer tomorrow and have the wheels, springs, and camber done on Saturday. The dealer told me that when in order to replace the short block you have to take off the VVEL actuator and VVEL position sensor. Once those have been removed they cannot be re-used. That's what they said anyway. So now, we're waiting for those parts to come in. I hope that it gets done in time for Z Nationals next weekend.
