Yeah its a pain, I used to live in the NE when I had it too so polen was a huge issue.

You're only talking about ~$300 more than a budget summer tire. Well worth the fun you'll have wearing that rubber down to nothingness . RE-11s are my next tire... disappointed I bought Hankook Ventus V12s. They're brand new and I'm ready to get rid of them. Looks like I'll be doing some aggressive track days this summer.
