Haha you guys are Jerks, I should've sat quietly! I should have DDM pay me for that just now. If I'm not mistaken, CZP has SS brake lines out for us already. Stoptech Rotors, Hawk Pads, CZP Brake Lines, >> You guys want to get a group discount going on some real brake pads? I can talk to Carbotech for us. They are starting production on the pads this week. Cobalt is another option |

I'll see if they give us a nice deal on a set of XP10's or 12's

The EBC is a great street pad where as the Carbotech is a track only pad. Probably wouldn't want to use it on the street full time as it takes some temperature to work effectively.

You may be right about the stock pads, their cold bight is pretty lame. At the track the Carbotech's rock! Haven't tried them in the 370 yet but in every other car they've performed very well.

Yes.
It would be nice if the car could pull hard throughout the rpm range.

Meh, it's a high-revving V6, not a torque-y low-rpm V8 like my last car. I kinda like the change in character. Above 4K is where this engine really starts stretching its legs.

I'm a little confused. If they have good cold bite, better than stock street pads even, then why are you only planning to use them on the track? I'm only looking to upgrade my street pads, so maybe I'll go in for SS lines with you guys only, and get the EBC Yellows as I had originally planned.

if it is good for the street it will be toast on the track, and if good for the track it will suck on the street mainly due to the noise and also dust

Well, I ran EBC Yellow on my 350Z with a StopTech BBK as my everyday street pads. They worked great. I never tracked them though. But according to you they're track pads, right? And you're right -- I checked with EBC and they are indeed track pads. So maybe EBC Yellows are the exception to the rule that there's no such thing as a pad that's good for both street and track (?).

that is cool the yellows were good for you on the street, for the track I have seen some seasoned guys give up on the yellows though and switched to Carbotechs
