+1 to that... I'm tired of waiting and spec'ing out one that I may build myself... thinking it will be a bit like this

Yep, that would look cool except I'd go a little less hardcore since I need room for the exhaust. How hard can it be. Maybe I'll make one out of plywood and then mold with fiberglass. Weekend project someday when I have time.

Wow nice journal. I can't believe I have never read this thread before.

Well, it looks like I have lots of pages to catch up on.

Probably because I haven't done much to the car lately. Just enjoying it for a while and been too busy to do anything anyway. Except Wheels I guess haha.

Picked up 4 TPMS sensors and a Stillen Front lip. Pics of the lip installed coming next week :)

Also, anyone interested in my stock sports package BBK? Includes the SS lines, brand new pads and the Stillen J-Hook rotors. Willing to discuss price, but I'm looking for around $1500.

Same with my Sport Stock 19" Wheels. They have Nitto NT-05 Rubber on them. No TPMS unless you want to pay for it.

Sounds like you may be wanting a BBK for christmas!
Which brand would you go with?

AP Racing 6/4. Love the kit and IMHO, its the best option!

We'll see, I'm happy with my current setup though. It's pretty good as it is.

I'm interested to see how the Stillen lip looks on your car, is the reason for the wait because you are getting it painted by chance? AP racing brakes are definitely as good as it gets on the brake front, no worries about a lack of braking power!

This weekend they actually had it on sale.

I am too. I'm going to leave it satin black from now and see what it looks like. I'll pchop it to see what it looks like painted. I have my fangs painted satin though, so I think it will look good in plain satin.

If you mean Stillen, I know I saw that they had it on sale. I am talking to them to see if they will still give me a good deal on it. I did miss out on the sale though, we'll see what happens.

I'd feel better about it if someone was interested for the stock BBK + upgrades. I guess it's better if I put it up on the for sale thread.

I saw a Stillen lip on a black 370 over the weekend. It looked pretty good. The guy had painted it to match the car. But it looked like it might not be super durable as the center was bowed in a bit. Could have hit something I guess.

RCZ 12-01-2010 10:15 AM

One of the big reasons I picked this lip was the flexibility actually. It can take some serious abuse and will not break if you scrape it. Also, since I'm planning to leave it satin, any big scratches can be fixed with some satin rattle car spray and you wont be able to tell anything ever happened.

m4a1mustang 12-01-2010 10:18 AM

Yep. And if you do damage it beyond repair it's cheap to replace.

RCZ 12-01-2010 02:31 PM

yup.

Anyone brakes? Rotors and pads and lines have less than 1k miles on them. Price of everything included is like 2k, selling for $1500.
