Gorgeous. So my ******* style it isnt even funny. Wish they were out before I got mine.

RCZ 09-03-2010 10:47 AM

My style too. Yeah I know Josh, its so far away! Now that I have no spacers installed it pains me to look at the car with the stock wheels all sunk in...boooo.

Nitex 09-03-2010 10:54 AM

Looks great, to me they look like a BBS offering but with much more concavity

travisjb 09-03-2010 05:28 PM

I'm not one to buy wheels for looks but if I were I'd be interested... these flow really well with the lines of the car... look forward to more pics!

Hmmmm, that's funny because my wheels are flush now and look great. Oh yeah, that's because I have your spacers . Got them installed this past weekend and they're great. No vibration and a subtle but worthwhile aesthetic improvement. I'll see if the cornering abilities have any noticeable improvement at my next track day as well. Thanks again.

How is the SC working out? Still on my wish list...

m4a1mustang 09-20-2010 12:40 PM

Screw the SC, I want to see some fabric! What's new, Raul??? Any new prints for fall?

Let me know if your spacers hold up. One of my spacer's sheared off the centering ring part of the spacer after a track day. H&R stud replacement kind, wheels torqued to 85 lb/ft.

Well that doesn't bode well. Did you notice right away or find out later? Hopefully you just had a dud.

travisjb 09-20-2010 11:29 PM

chris, mind posting a pic somewhere of the damage so we can learn from that? would like more discussion of why you think it failed... thanks for the heads-up

ChrisSlicks 09-21-2010 06:56 AM

Found out later when changing wheels (was using stock at the time). I will post a pic up somewhere for discussion.

Yeah, please do. Maybe make a new thread out of it to get some more input...something sexy like "Broken spacer after track event". People won't be able to resist looking inside.

At least the wheel didn't fly off. I was getting worried about the spacers and being at Road America in 3 weeks.

Hmmm.. Can't wait for the pics!

RCZ - How is your clutch holding up?

ZForce 10-03-2010 12:34 PM

Post pics of the failed H&R spacer. This was the 15mm or 20mm? I had heard that tracking with wheel spacers could have some issues. Is there any truth to this or was someone blowing hot air up my tires?

RCZ 10-04-2010 04:07 PM

I never got a chance to track with the spacer on. I've spent too long getting the car ready to handle the abuse.

Clutch is fine. Every now and then I get a little play at the top of the pedal and the engagement gets very close to the floor. Then I drive around for 10 minutes and its fixed for another few days. Its on and off, but nothing major. Its not the clutch's fault though, I have a strong feeling that its the fluid system and not the clutch itself.

I've interested in seeing the carnage of the wheel spacers too.

Thx RCZ.

On another note, I could have sworn HP Logic was a vendor on the forum. Where did they go? Or am I looking over them....
