That's true, so might as well take all that crap out... I wonder what happens with the subwoofer that normally attaches to the spare tire...Also...taking weight off the rear of the car in a car thats already front heavy isn't exactly a great idea handlingwise.

Gonna look into new battery too.

Nitex 08-23-2010 10:48 AM

Yeah, makes sense to remove weight from the front before the rear. Also i noticed that the spare + fittings help support weight from things you put in the trunk! I think i can just screw the bolt back in with the funky round piece, should give me my structural support back.

Slick car as always RCZ.

Man those wheels make your car look GHEY!

...Sell them to me please! lol

I just got a HUGE raise and promotion at work, not to mention I just won $1k in a tournament(LOL VIDEO GAMES) so I'm definately going the supercharged route by next year!

You want my wheels eh. You'd have to get the front right fixed because its curbed.
If you make me a solid offer for wheels AND tires as is I would consider parting with them.

Also, I've been kinda quiet these past few days with a sheared bolt in my clutch. It has been fixed and I can now actually get back to testing out the new brakes.

I drove on them already and have some teaser shots for you tonight. First impression though is that the whole braking system feels solid now. Bite is pretty predictable and the pedal just feels awesome. Feels like I can modulate it with more confidence now. The rotors look AWESOME on the car too. I'm trying to see if I can grab one of the teasers from my Vossen photoshoot.

By the way, the Stillen Metal matrix pads are excellent street pads. Low dust, no noise and good cold and hot bite. They aren't touchy, they are more gradual, but then when you get on them a little more you can tell they are definitely better than the stock pads. They are also cheaper and rotor friendly, so no brainer for me. I recommend them for someone replacing stock pads...they are similar to Hawk HPS pads for a lot less.

Jav, I have a feeling the new wheels will be very very well received by the 370Z community.

Well, it's just the front right. I know you are anal about your car so you WILL have to get it fixed. It's not deep at all, but there's a good amount of it. So its definitely fixable, but they usually run like 75 a wheel to get redone.

One of the bolts that holds the pressure plate to the flywheel. The head of the bolt sheared off and was bouncing inside. I am so lucky nothing was damaged. Car was back up and running in a day thanks to Jnaut staying up late into the night to have me back on the road asap.

Can anyone advice me on what program to use for quickly inserting a signature logo on all my pictures?? I'm tired of seeing them used all over the place.

Zat_Zuma 08-30-2010 03:24 PM

Let me know what software inserts a watermark on my pictures too

Working on a set of Rentless Autosports rear rotors today or tomorrow.
Look for pictures and write up in the near future.
