More info this weekend.

$150 ? :icon17:

The only special tool required is the puller, and you can buy those brand new for $35 or so. DIY :)

I did one once before and it was with people who had done it before. I remember having to do all sorts of stuff..but I don't remember them clearly enough so this one, Im going to let my mech do.

Not getting the car back for a few days.

RCZ 04-29-2009 04:45 PM

I got my results and its about the same as everyone else.

310WHP 228WHP

I am seeing if they have any pictures of the whole graph.

I am a little worried about the torque number, but one thing that should be taken into account is that the car didn't have ANY time to adjust to the new mods. That dyno pull was done immediately after install. I have a feeling I will pick up at least 5whp after it gets used to the new mods. Then another 10-15whp with a tune. My Goal was 330whp. It is going to be damn close.

Also this is WITHOUT the pulley.

semtex 04-29-2009 04:54 PM

Nice results! Yeah, I want to see the torque curve.

ChrisSlicks 04-29-2009 08:38 PM

Noticed your peak has now moved up slightly to 7500 which is interesting. The fact that your torque number hasn't moved much isn't all that surprising as most of your improved power is likely coming in the higher rpms beyond the torque peak. So your torque curve improved just not the torque peak.

Great results!

Yeah the car feels different now, I need to get it redynoed. Feels stronger than when I picked it up for sure.

Hopefully that stronger feeling is coming from some more torque gains once the car adapted to the mods. I'm looking forward to the dyno and hopefully some new videos for us to enjoy

I really wish this car had more torque. 300WHP is plenty but I really wish it had around 260TQ.

So basically you're asking for more HP at lower RPM.

RCZ 05-06-2009 04:49 PM

Don't we all?

Next mods are Flywheel, Test pipes, Tune, Carbotech brake pads/fluid/ss lines, KW V3's, control arms, Swaybars, chassis braces, wheels/tires

Oh my, information overload!

What chassis braces are you looking at? Those Nismo ones?

Where are you getting the SS brake lines? I hadn't seen any in 370Z-specific lengths on anyone's site yet.

prob this one http://www.the370z.com/double-down-m...html#post67909

semtex 05-06-2009 07:00 PM

Yeah I just ordered the brace myself.
