Looking forward to an update on the Stillen S/C! I'm glad Stillen is going for perfection, but good grief, I recall speculation last spring that it'd be ready for summer... guess the integration issues were more than they had planned for, or they discovered some deficiencies during testing???

No deficiencies.. we did suffer some setback with the development and preparation of the GT-R rally car.. we're back on it 100%.. :)

Josh you are so on point! Glad all is well...

anyone mutters stillens name and Josh appears from the depths of the abyss to set the record straight hahaha.

Hopefully I will be able to get one of the stillen s/c kits early after the release. I am not worried that there will be any issues, so far I've tested a lot of their stuff on release and have been very happy with everything. I can't wait! I just hope I am able to swing it. I am saving... hoping for the best, expecting the worst...

lmao... josh wins vendor rep of the year in my book!

Josh@STILLEN 12-20-2009 10:18 PM

lolol.. you guys crack me up.

Of course I'm watching your builds.. you guys are the ones pushing the limits.. especially you Travis.. I can't wait to see the progress!

Hopefully we'll also have some vehicles out on the track this next year, and get out more! That's the plan.. :)

I'm going to run Sebring Full course in May, if the car doesn't explode there, I'd say your S/C is a success Josh. Assuming the kit is out by May...I do need a bigger Oil core. All in due time.

I was told that adjusting the timing wont give us that much more power, is that true?

True statement, Josh came to my rescue on the wheel spacer thread and helped me with the purchase of a set of H&R's.

With the S/C your going to have some serious speed on that monster back straight, and the front straight and warehouse straight isn't exactly short either! It will be a serious test of cooling and braking.

I think there's another 10hp left in the engine from timing tuning.

I expect to hit at least 175mph+ on the back straight with the S/C on. I'm a little worried about my brakes holding up to that kind of speed..luckily I have a few testing sessions before then at Palm Beach International Raceway and Homestead.

Focusing on getting my brakes up to par next.
