My limit is at 8,150RPM actually. Yeah its nice, but the only bad part is that you have to be a lot more careful about banging the limiter on those burnouts and power slides. I think I'm going to use my stock tune to drive around during "normal" hours.

Cool, I probably will raise it to 8,000 revs at most!! Can't wait to hear the engine roar at the redline.... Thanks for the help

RCZ, how does your steering feel different after the modifications?? I think the suspension, camber kits, and the unsprung mass reduction really helped as well as lower weight itself....

RCZ 11-17-2009 10:20 PM

well it feels very very heavy with my current alignment settings. I like it because its smooth and predictable. Turn in is so crisp, I love it.

Little update:

I have 20mm rear spacers, 15mm front spacers, hotchkis swaybars and a stillen pulley to install. All should be on by next week.

I ordered Stock size Nitto NT05's to replace my RE050As, should be here in a few days.

Pictures / videos coming of everything.

Which spacers, brand, did you decide on going with? H&R?

I actually got Ichiba Rears from a fellow board member.

ZForce 12-20-2009 12:39 PM

Was it front or the rears of Ichiba spacers that had reports of rubbing?

SOLISIMO 12-20-2009 12:42 PM

Hey when HP logic tuned your car with the uprev, where you happy? Im thinking of going that route instead of the cobb. Its like a flash correct?

I'm curious how the car will handle with spacers on a track. I'm tempted to go that route because I like the stock wheels (and would prefer to spend wheel money elsewhere), but the factory offsets drive me slightly nuts. I've just been worried about screwing with the handling...

it all depends one which spacers you go with. I went with the 15mm for the fronts and the 20mm for the rears. My car is pretty low (read very low) but I run a lot of -camber so I should be OK.

Happy, no one should be happy with an uprev or a cobb tune right now considering you cant tune timing yet. I was surprised how easy and quick the uprev software is though. I will have an uprev license for sale when the Stillen SC comes out since that comes with it's own tune.

Slightly wider track in the rear will cause a little understeer, however my car is fairly tail happy right now and I'm adding swaybars. It should all even out in the end. Once I got the balance dialed in, adjust with tire pressure for the minor tweaks.

I think you're keeping this car street legal, but just in case... might want to follow progress on the Robi-spec race-oriented supercharger... no a/c allowed!

RCZ 12-20-2009 08:02 PM

haha, yeah I'm gonna keep this car street "legal" for a good while so my A/C isnt going anywhere anytime soon. I live vicariously through you my friend haha.
