I think I'm going to be good about this one Ben, It is a much much bigger monthly payment than what I have now and the new M3 is coming out in 2013 as a 2014 model so I will keep my car relatively stock and easy to sell. If the rumors are true, its getting a triturbo V6 and less weight! The first turbo is electronic...kinda like an SC for the super low end response. Quote:

I know my next car is going to be some sort of Eurotrash... just not sure if it will be an ///M or AMG... or Porsche. I would love to take delivery over there.

God that European delivery option sounds amazing. BMW takes care of their customers really well (and I would hope so for the money you fork out for one of their cars!)
Sadly, my experiences with my Audi have cooled me to getting any European car again anytime soon. It's just not in me right now; maybe when I get older and I'll just want a car that I can relax and drive about, while being able to afford the egregious maintenance costs, I'll go get a BMW. Until then, I get to throw my WRX around |

Here's the answer to why its cheaper for anyone who was wondering. I was completely wrong.
Why is BMW European Delivery Cheaper than US Delivery? Phelan, BMW covers all maintenance, brake pads, rotors, oil, etc. for 4 years/50k miles. It will be cheaper to maintain than my Z assuming I don't do something stupid...in that case insurance would cover it. Last edited by RCZ; 10-06-2011 at 01:04 PM. |

The problem is after it falls out of the maintenance plan, you pay up the arse for replacement parts and labor! That's where my big issue lies. I don't replace cars very often, I drive until I can't drive them anymore. So the Audi was a really really expensive car to maintain as it neared the end... But if you're going to move on before it falls out, then |

there's something special about picking up your car at the factory, especially when you pick it up in germany and stop off at the ring and drive through the swiss mountains! really hope you can make this work out - i've driven both of those as you may remember and they are definitely bucket list life events. enjoy yourself!

I heard rumors that he's talking to the Williams team but I'm not sure if I believe it or not. He left F1 because he was tired of it and I'm not sure if he would come back if it wasn't with a winning team.
He tried to get into NASCAR earlier this year but couldn't line up a (full-time) ride with a top team so he stopped looking there. He wants to be somewhere that he can win, regardless of the series, so I'm not so sure if he'd sign with Williams but who knows...
