redline time attack @ sebring raceway

$12000. thats what i found out my new 7at transmission and radiator cost when it went out on me 2 saturdays ago. suspected it was the torque converter and luckily got approved through warranty for a new 1 on monday. waited 4 long days and it finally came in friday 1pm and my master tech was able to get it in the car so i could leave for sebring. i spent the whole week feeling like i would not make it. needless to say i was a total mess on the track the whole weekend between a new trans, new coils, new track, etc. no excuses but my head just wasnt in the game.

it was still an amazing weekend with a bunch of old and new friends. got to meet mike bonnani and alan crocket - our head instructors, john "nads" naderi with his running commentary, ryan gates with his sick evo, catesby and will with their quick gt-rs, nero and wes from titan and the list just goes on.

I couldn't find the car I sponsor in your pictures, so I'll post my own. I took care of these guys' oil needs for the season

They're one of my favorite teams in the series. Awesome story and great guys. Congrats to them and their sponsors (thats you) on winning the Championship for the east coast!

Thanks Mike! I talked to Dan (driver) the other day. He had nothing but great things to say about you.

I actually got involved because my good friend of many years is one of the "behind the scenes" guys.

Oh awesome! Yeah Dan and the rest of the crew are good people. They're trying to come out to Fontana, CA for the finals to compete against the West Coast guys. I hope they do, I think they will do well.

I hope they do as well. I really wish I could come out and support them in person, but my work schedule never cooperates. I'm due for a visit though, and hope to see them at Purdue soon.

ya my pics were kind of random but that evo was pitted right next to us. i always checked it out when i walked by, props to them on doing so well.

great to meet you as well mike and i really appreciate all the advice! just ordered new pads this week, about 100 C higher temps. not sure what im doing with the car right now so holding off on going any more extreme. the redline guys did an awesome job making it a fun weekend. there was so much going on, im sure i missed out on a bunch. when you guys plan on coming back, definitely let us know ahead of time - we'll make sure that theres a ton more promotion.
