No major hiccups but you do need to get crafty with tools if you install this without dropping the motor. I will definitely invest in a lift in the future to save me from crawling under the car over and over again. I took the car for a pump gas tune yesterday, but ran into a problem with the wastegate actuators. They will need some adjustment since I was seeing boost levels of 11.5 psi before even getting close to redline. :ugh2: Once I resolve those problems, it will be hitting the dyno for a pump gas tune and E85 will follow shortly after :eekdance: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...1213141311.jpg |
great bro!! almost done  can wait to see your dyno numbers when you resolve the wastegates problem
cool!

Nice what did it roughly put down on the dyno? It sounds like you are having boost creep, which is common in internal wastegates. Did you check if both turbos are creeping or just one particular side. Chances are if both are creeping, you may have to either bore out the wastegate hole in the turbine housing to allow more flow or go external.

Wastegate issue resolved and the pump gas phase is complete. I visited JMS Racing in San Antonio, TX for the tune. I told the tuner that I was hoping for 500whp on pump.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...20141249-1.jpg Achieved :happydance: Runs were on low (8.5psi) and high (10.5) psi. 8.5psi Pull: 10 psi Pull: I've had many compliments about the Motordyne E370 on this setup. It gives it a close GTR sound on idle and normal driving :D We will try new fuel in the near future, E85 or MS109 in Spring 2015  |
Congrats on those numbers lee, and on making your car more awesome-er than it was
nice!! are you running test pipes with the motordyne?
Yes, berk test pipes
Awesome numbers!!
Thanks!
