Tomorrow I'm going to start doing some unboxing clips of all the parts. Installs will follow after. I've kind of went crazy on orders with this. I guess that's what happens when someone who like to mod cars doesn't do it for a few years .
I've went back and forth so many times with what look, or body pieces I wanted. A mixture of not knowing how they look in person, to wanting something not out there, to the looooong wait for JDM parts. So im actually piecemealing from multiple different companies. Currently the order has been placed for a few JDM parts, I will reveal which company in the future . As far as I know there are none of them in the US yet. Side skirts I'm undecided on at the moment. I do not want to distract too much from the natural aesthetics of the car. I had an idea of what wheels I wanted but that was when I was leaning more towards a complete kit. For now I may stick with the spacers and stock wheels. Who knows just typing it out tempts me to make a phone call. Knowing me I will have them ordered by the end of the day . May as well leave a couple more pics while im here

First unboxing video is up on youtube. Man its hard to talk to a camera. I feel fine until right before I hit record lol. Id rather have someone on the other side or even next to me that I am explaining things to. Hopefully I get used to it. I am posting the other video soon just got done recording it.
It will be where I post the install videos. I wrote a guide or two here that I feel like were decent so hopefully I can translate that to video for everyone. Stop by and check out the tube if youd like =) My YouTube Channel

So I was struggling to understand why this Z had poor audio. I then learned later model 370z's and into this model have some goofy things going on. Fake exhaust sound and noise cancelation.
I got in this morning with a nice service advisor that happens to own a 370z. So being a fellow enthusiast they were more than happy to help. Fifty dollars even, in and out in less than 30 minutes. We turned off both ANC/ASE. Impressions: Road noise is significantly louder. I prefer as much feedback as I can get so this is no issue for me. Some people will definitely want to leave noise suppression on though. The fake exhaust sound is completely gone and the car is super quiet (for) now. The Bose system is marginally better. Hopefully once the speakers are broken in I get a bit better base. Id be surprised to find out this had the exact same system as the 370z's because they sound much better IMO. So if you are hoping this fixes the poor audio it wont. It does help enough that I don't feel the need to upgrade anything for my personal usage.

All the way up to 6 unboxings! The Youtube has quick commentary at the end. Will have more soon, another large order placed on the 12th! Plus body kit choice was made an ordered but that is a surprise for another time. Will be up to 6 month wait, maybe longer kit isnt in production yet.
Windows tinted today. Edit: Already told you guys about the body kit. Keeping to many places updated oof. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxLfo...RlODBiNWFlZA==

I totally missed this! Congrats on the new Z!
I’m in the minority here, but I think the z34.5 looks better than the 370z. Also, white is the fastest color. Good job. Last edited by FL 4Motion; 09-22-2023 at 10:16 PM. |

By 1 PM tomorrow there will be 8 videos up on YouTube of each thing that has been removed so far. Nothing major, mostly self explanatory items up to this point. The front bumper was a bit different to remove then our 09 370s because of the wiring harness for the sensors.
Current plan is to remove heat exchanger next, then air boxes or intercoolers, and which ever of those two after. Exhaust and downpipes will follow after that. What I hope to gain by leaving everything out is a clear line of sight on the down pipes from up top. So I can attack them from two sides.

A lot more content is up on Youtube and I try to post daily on IG. Check them out for more frequent updates.
This past weekend plus Friday I was able to get the factory upper and lower downpipes out, the new full length race catted downpipes in, and the boost logic system fully adjusted and fitted. Man is it an extremely high quality system. It took me, my dad, and even my wifes tiny arms in some places roughly 20 hours to get it done. Even if I had access to a lift I think it would of taken at least 10-12 hours. Doing it on jack stands is obviously doable but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like turning bolts 1/8th turn at a time for 15 minutes to get one bolt out, while laying on you back. If you do go for it, its a fun challenge. I still have not ordered my wheels because Rohana's time to respond to questions isn't quick, and I keep coming up with more. All currently ordered parts have arrived except the LBWK kit and Swift springs. I also ended up going with the full LBWK vs the partial order I originally made. The original pieces were set to arrive sometime in December, im not sure if adding more will delay that or not. I hope to have the car fired up by the end of next week. Could be sooner depending on how hurt I am, and if the tuner can get me my base MAP in time. Soon

Update for the OG's
I cancelled the swift springs and went the with Z1 R-PRO Coilovers, I installed those last weekend. Rohana still has not finalized my build specs, I guess end of the year they are more busy with vacations and promoting the brand. I do have a render that will be close to the final design, but its for my eyes only right now The LBWK pieces will be arriving roughly one month apart with the first half now confirmed by the end of December. Which is fine because I still do not have a schedule set in stone with the body shop. Im currently in the slow process of remote tuning with Sonictuned. I just completed the Rev.1 Data log, I think there is only one more to do. "Knock on Wood" Looks like all my installations went well to make it this far into it. Car is being dropped off at Z1 by January 6th for the new VRX70B turbos to be installed, along with all the AMS fueling goodies needed to max out those turbos limits. I'm going to try and keep it in the 650ish WHP Range, which from what I hear is pretty safe long term on this engine. I may have them do one hero run just for a dyno chart to show off because it should be able to easily do into the 700's. Here is a pic as she currently sits on coilovers. The photos are not at the same angle so it doesnt show the drop well. I only went an 1" lower for now until it settles. If it doesnt dropa little more I may go another 1/2". Im not trying to worry about scraping all over this time around.
