The wife said do it, so I didnt wait for her to change her mind haha! Plus she will get my touring seats in hers now so its a win, win.
This has been a really fun build so far. I really want to get it back on the road! I send everything to my dads house because I do not trust my neighbor hood. It annoys him a little because I tell him I need him home all the time to get my s*** LOL Quote:

Looks like I stumbled upon this thread at the right time! This is one of the baddest Monterey Blues on the street!! Congrats on the car man, couldn't believe when I saw his for sale, TT and yet you just keep the goods coming!
Can't wait to see this thing all together, I can see people have been following this for quite a while thinking the same thing. I've seen the housings on MBlue done both ways, MBlueZ's blue housing/blk shrouds, and FlushNismo's Blk housing/blue shrouds and let me tell you I prefer the latter and look forward to doing mine the same way. I have a question, did Nut_N_Much also fill the landing strip indentions? Looks great and I'll be checking back daily! BTW those Sparco seats are ridiculous, makin me think about seats now say bye to my budget lol

Thank you sir! I looked at your car a lot for ideas as well as Flush's, and of course Tony! Yes the landing strip was filled and it looks a heck of a lot better that way. Only reason to keep the dimples is if you want a landing strip. As far as your budget goes throw it out the window. I tried it didn’t work!
The seats.....I really wish someone would of purchased them they were too good of a price to last more than a day. Then when he dropped them another 50 bucks I could not say no. Thanks everyone for the support it makes this much more fun! I do not want to spoil with any more pics until it is back together. I have only had an hour or two a night to work on it. As of last night The rear of the car is complete and the driver side fender is on Im off all day tomorrow so I hope to get a lot finished. Quote:

Well I got a lot done today. All that is left is putting in the wheel well liners and the wheels. Then adjust the coil overs (if needed). Friday morning it is off to the exhaust shop. I took a few pics to tease with but my dads computer is being stupid and it wont load them. Im staying here for the night to get on it first thing when I wake up. So that means no pics sorry!
I also found an oil leak while under the car tonight it looks like the oil pan gasket. I hope that is all it is! Updates to follow tomorrow morning once I get the final touches done. I can tell you this, it is absolutely breath taking. Have your lotion and tissues ready

Ok here are a few of the shots from last night, and a couple from outside today when we got her back on the road. Couple of warnings the height is way off front to back. We were way off somehow on the adjustments. the front is 2" off the ground the rear is like 5-6" LOL! I drove it back to my place for the night.
I have an appointment first thing in the morning to get the exhaust fixed. If he finishes it in time I will take it for suspension adjustments/alignment. All and all im about 90% happy with the outcome of the project. The fenders were just a complete PITA I even cracked one a little trying to line it up, but you cant see unless I point it out or your really looking for it. So now when I get some money saved back up im going to take it to a body shop to get it 100% perfect. Enough blabber here is a few pics!
