So you will be the first to put them on??? Pic after install please!!!

Mr&Mrs 10-18-2012 08:00 PM

I hope so! Pics will be whored out to all!

Im in contact with Forgestar as well as with Eric @ GetYourWheels and Forgestar just hit me with a little speedbump. My sizing in the front will probably not be Super Deep Concave face. Im not a fan of running much camber so Eric said to go with a 9.5 front and not a 10, looks like that doesnt work with the Super Deep Concave :shakes head:

No worries though I would rather get more life out of my tires than have a face just a little more concave. The rears will be sick anyway!

Thought your rims were forgiato but now that i read the box it ain't but i gotta say that those F14F looks the same as the forgiato Pinzette

Mr&Mrs 10-18-2012 10:17 PM

Yes they do. I wanted to do a higher quality wheel, but like I mentioned im trying to stick to a budget so better wheels can wait. These things look sick anyway!

Can't wait to see it on the ride.

Nut_N_Much 10-19-2012 07:00 PM

MMMM, those rims are tasty.. Looking good! How soon before your body kit will be ready..

I can't wait to see this car in the sunlight all together... I'll ck in with you Sunday with some updated pics of the lights.

Mr&Mrs 10-19-2012 07:30 PM

Thanks Joe,

I stopped in to see Jeff on Wed. (I think) and he had not started on the parts yet. Im guessing since I said 2-3 weeks would be ok it will probably take 3 weeks lol. I am so amped for this it isnt even funny, and it sucks I have to wait another month or two for wheels now!

Peter @ Forgestar said they are swamped with orders for SEMA but will get on my set ASAP for our photo shoot we have planned.

I cant wait to see the headlights! I dont think I have ever saw an all MBlue housing (everyone seems to go with black) so im stoked to see how it comes out.

Were you able to get a good idea for your demon eyes while taking mine apart?

If there are any questions about the headlights feel free to text or call me. From the looks of the pictures though they are in good hands..

Mr&Mrs 10-19-2012 08:28 PM

Thanks Dave,

You have been awesome and im glad you like to check in on your baby. I dont let just anyone touch my cars so you can rest easy on that.

Except that nightmare I went thru with having the Amuse wing put on, but I learned my lesson. :shakes head:

god those wheels are to die for man!!! beautiful!!!

Mr&Mrs 10-20-2012 05:07 PM

Spent a few hours cleaning all the nooks and crannies thought I would share a couple pics. Still not super clean but my back went out last night at work so I could only take so much. Plus I put up a DIY for the fenders.

Cleaned all the wheel wells/rear suspension etc, etc. this is just one of the rears.

Cleaned under all the body panels, engine bay, and underneath the front/rear. Again just a shot of the rear.

First off I have to :tiphat: to Joe for the amazing job he is doing on my lights. I cant wait to get these things back on the car they are so sick! I went with all MBlue housings, and black shrouds. I hope this sets me off a little from some of the other MBlue's because they all seem to go with black housings.

Enough blabber heres the pics!

% of the install?

Mr&Mrs 10-27-2012 02:30 AM

I would say im at about.....60%. I have not heard from or called the painter yet. Joe will be finishing up my headlights this week end. Then I can start trying to fit the fenders.

Then once everything is installed I am driving it to get some custom tips put on the exhaust. I am currently trying to find a top notch shop in my area. So far im not having much luck with that....

Last item for this round of mods to be complete will be the wheels and who knows when they will show up. I was told 6-8 weeks, but im thinking close to double that from what I read about Forgestar.

Actually still need to get my coil overs on too!

I'm free next weekend for the coils install. Also, I can recommend you an exhaust guy. He's the same guy who fabricated my single exhaust and redid my intake/intercooler piping for the Z. He's in Clearwater though.

Mr&Mrs 10-27-2012 01:19 PM

That's fine with me. Does he keep tips in stock? I'm hoping to go when a place opens and leave the same day.

No, it's a friend who works out of his parent's garage. He's built MANY turbo kits and exhaust, etc for local cars. His welds are fantastic and he does great work. Good thing is he only works on 1 car at a time.

Dropped off the final parts (fenders) with the painter today and he said everything should be done this weekend. So I hope within 2 weeks I have it all back together and the new exhaust tips done.

I will be adding little bits along the way. :excited:
