Sorry I didn't realize you needed an Instagram to view it. I do not have any pictures with the clear coat on it yet, well I do, but keeping them until after ZCON. The blue should look familiar :icon17: it has been one of if not my favorite colors ive owned, the accelerate yellow on the vette is really nice as well. So I wanted to have a piece of it with me on this car. I decided a cool theme could be the new car/color kind of peeling away the old car/color, but with a nice gradient transition. Edit: Also I had them remove the yellow from the paint formula of the new Zs pearl and add blue in its place in equal quantity. She is super white pearl now.

We made it to ZCON! The car was a hit with spectators and one of the highest scoring Zs by the judges. In the event of a tie the older Z wins for best of the Judged show. The car that won was absolutely beautiful and freshly restored. I meant to ask how close I was with scoring to see what I can improve on. I know I got 99/100 on exterior speaking with the judge after the show. We secured Most Overall Points Peoples Choice, Peoples Choice RZ34, Nissan Factory Favorite Best Modified (selected by Nissan Designer), and 1st Place Ultra Modified Z. Here are some pictures. So happy to finally have it out in the wild.

:icon17: Looks are a little deceiving, "only" 325s in the rear 285 up front.

Plans are in swing to be at Z Nationals so if you missed the car at ZCON and are near Z1 come by say hello and see the car in person!

I saw the car pop in Zcon photos! Glad you made it. The car looks great.

I think a custom e brake would have gotten you that extra point

I will know for sure by Wednesday if I'm coming. This storm has me on the fence at the moment.

Yeah, I see it coming. Depending on what the storm does, I may not go either. I am not standing outside in the rain. I will trailer the car up in my enclosed trailer. I don't drive it long distances.
I have too much invested.

As of now it looks like it will be gone by Saturday and I missed track day registration anyway, not quite finished tuning. Im currently having issues finding a shipper though. I was going to trailer it myself but didnt realize how much width got added with this body kit until I measured it last week. Now I'm trying to find a shipper and I dont know if its because of the storm or the car description, no one is bidding on it.

WOW, I am glad I bought a trailer. It just made sense for me because I already have a diesel dually truck. Your car would fit in my trailer. It's 8ft wide. You are not getting your car on a U-haul trailer.

Have you worked it out with Z1 to store your car there? I would guess it would need to be there on Thursday afternoon at the latest. I am on vacation all week but I need to wash my trucks and car. Plus I am bush hogging my pasture. I would offer to come get it and deliver it to Z1 but I can't bring it back. Back to work next week on Monday.
